Took my granddaughter here to celebrate her birthday. This is a large store and overwhelming at first. There are 2 levels. Several play areas. And lots of dolls! The restaurant and salon areas looked cool, but we're closed when we were there. We will definitely go back to experience those. Employees were friendly and helpful, but gave us plenty of space to enjoy the experience.

Since we were visiting the DC area from Ohio mostly for the enjoyment of my history nerd son - we decided we’d spend a day at the mall visiting the American Girl doll store and having lunch in the bistro.This turned out to be a trip highlight. The shop was very inviting. The dolls and the outfits are all neatly organized. An entire all of American Girl books. Friendly staff ready to assist if any questions. Having been a kid in the 90’s who never owned a doll but received the catalogs - I felt like I was in a utopia.Then…lunch. Our waiter Cortes was an absolute riot. He made the experience so much fun. He made jokes. Chatted with the kids and even included my son who had brought his stuffed Panda in all the doll activities.Food was pretty good. Service was just the right amount of time - didn’t feel rushed but didn’t take forever either. You get hair bows and a doll size cup and sauce to take home with the meal. The table is adorable. It was such an experience! 100% recommend.

I had a very nice time for my niece's birthday until we got our food, our plate was dirty. For y'all to charge $65 for doll a least give people clean plates

We went here for an adult birthday party out of nostalgia based reasons, was expecting the food to be mid but was really surprised. The food was super great, and the aesthetic of the cafe itself is adorable. The service was great from the front area to our server Henry who was hilarious and helped our experience be 11/10. Would definitely come here again for another celebration.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! My daughter (4yrs old) was treated like a princess, and Mama was so incredibly pleased with the customer service experience throughout our visit. We ate desserts in the bistro and shopped around, fully enjoying our "Mommy & Daughter date." My daughter had her ears pierced, and her American Girl doll was pampered with a hairstyle and ear piercing at the salon.While we might be in an unusual situation (Even though my daughter's four, she has 18" dolls.), the staff was very quick to help us find little girl outfits that would match her doll. While I can't speak to all outfits, we were matched with a little girl outfit and Bitty Baby outfit that fit PERFECTLY on her 18 inch doll. Happy daughter & Happy Mama! :) Thank you Tyson's Corner AG Place for this magical and memorable experience!

WOW!!! This was my daughter's first experience, and it was amazing! All of the Staff throughout the store was great. In the Bistro, special thanks to our Server (Cortez) - he catered to my Princess for her birthday. The food was GREAT! (see the pictures)The entire establishment was exceptionally clean and orderly. There is SO MUCH! Browsing through the store is an experience of its own. I can't even put it into words. Hopefully, the many pictures will offer some visualization of my daughter's experience.We will definitely be returning!

This was our second visit to Tysons Corner AG. It did not disappoint. We celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday in the cafe, and she had a great experience. Our server was lovely and attentive. The food was just ok-but what I was expecting. It was plated adorably, and the girls got to keep the napkin rings as hair ties, a favor bag, and the cute tea cups for the dolls. Our friend did not have a doll and she was allowed to borrow one and feel included. Our servers name may have been Sarah, and she was lovely.The cashiers and floor staff are also so friendly. You never feel like you are a bother.My girls are still talking about it how fun it was, and I'm so happy we have that special memory together.

The store overall is beautiful but the staff there are horribly rude. You would think they would have great customer service and patience to work with children. But sadly they don’t. I unfortunately, do not recommend this location. I particularly asked a young lady named Sarah for help, and she just brushed me off. The rest of the staff is just as poor.

We had a nice experience with our four year old granddaughter. We enjoyed all the different doll setups. We picked up a Biddy Baby and stroller.

The idea behind the dining experience at the American Girl Doll store is good one but the service and food is a complete disaster. We had a reservation but couldn't be seated because they had no clean tables. After being seated it took 20min for our first server to come to our table and it was 30min until we had drinks. The menu items are for the most part pre-made so waiting 45 min for the first items to arrive was just unacceptable. After a 90min wait at the table we finally got our lunch and the kids meal was cold. The chips in the tower items were stale and the spinach dip tasted like water.The store is wonderful and the kids had a blast but holding it together for 90 minutes to get three chicken nuggets and cold fries is not worth it at all. In the end the staff realized the service was horrible and without a hint from our table comped the entire meal. The check came to $117 without tip and the meal quality and service was a 1 out of 10. Save your money and have lunch at one of the many restaurants next door. Paying $9 for a small plastic cup full of sprite with glitter fiz is just completely not worth it!
