“I placed an order of flowers, candy and cake for delivery this week for my daughter's birthday. I received the delivery email notification, but her university mail center never received it. I called Sam's in Lynchburg, and was given the number of the delivery service. I called twice to no avail. Soon afterwards, Alexis from Sam's Club called me and found out where the items were delivered. My daughter still could not find them. Alexis was kind enough to pull the items again and hold them at customer service for my daughter...just in time for her birthday! I am so grateful to her. “I have been going to JHC for about 20 years. I have had very good general practitioners/doctors there. I have had very good referrals when needed. The doctors have taken time with me and listened to my issues. There have been retirements and other changes so the doctors changed. My experience with each doctor has been good. I am completely satisfied with my healthcare. In the past the phone service was a problem but that has been corrected. I have been able to do a walk-in getting an appointment the same day I called. My one issue now is that I cannot send a message through the patient site that was available before. I don't know why this has changed but I would like to be able to send messages to my doctor as before. It helped get info or ask questions.”

“I am leaving a review because the employee staffing the cafe counter today went above and beyond to check in the freezer for ingredients on an item we wished to order. We had a concern about an allergen and they were so kind to clarify that it was not present and prepared our soft pretzel without butter as requested. The snacks are so reasonable here and a nice treat while shopping at Sam’s in Lynchburg!”

I choose to do all my pharmacy needs fulfilled here because I've never had a bad experience. I've never had an amazing experience which is why it's only a 4 star. Good pharmacy and I won't be leaving, but it isn't a 5-star amazing pharmacy.”

“I went from Walgreens to CVS to Kroger on 221 but the staff at this pharmacy are incredibly helpful and very fast at getting prescriptions filled. They have a machine that helps get them filled automatically so they are never behind and I get mine filled the day I submit it. It's so refreshing to have a pharmacy that cares about helping me and getting things done efficiently.”

We both work in food service and know how difficult customers can be so we always treat service workers with respect but this lady was jumping down my wife's throat for no reason and being very short with her despite my wife just kindly ordering her food. If she was one of my employee's (I am a general manager of a fast food chain) this lady would be written up and no longer working the register. We will no longer be shopping at the Cafe at the Lynchburg VA location.”

“Come here all the time for my meds and for the sales/coupon deals! Staff have always been super kind and helpful, even when very busy!One of the self checkouts froze the other day as I was checking out (CVS Corporate please take a look into that) and ate some of my digital coupons, but the staff helped me out and made sure I still got my items at the correct price and use the coupons I had. CVS is my favorite store to get good deals at, and I love that this location almost always has what I'm looking for at such a convenient location!”

“We love this Kroger primarily because of the staff. My husband is a star at this location and knows just about everyone by name. They are kind and loving to my toddler son and the help in every department has always been stellar. I use self check-out exclusively, but often need assistance and never wait more than a minute to get it. I am very comfortable here as it is in my neighborhood and I'm familiar with the lay out--my review is based on my comfort. While the Forest location offers far more variety in produce, etc, I am satisfied with this Kroger because of the convenience. They offer enough selection of a few things that are mandatory for me: organic produce and gluten-free frozen/packaged foods. From time to time I use the pick-up and delivery options from Kroger and that has also been a pleasure. They have called before replacing items that are not in stock. The one time I had an issue, I was offered a gift card for the inconvenience. It may be because I am blessed by the Universe, but every time I park there I get a space right by the cart return. I have lost my wallet there twice and both times the staff have retrieved it and held it for me. This speaks to their honesty and the honesty of the customers who shop there (and also my favor by the Universe...). Right now there's a lot of construction for the gasoline pumps so it can be crowded and congested. There's been a lot of upheaval because of this--people don't like it. I zero care about it because I can go to the grocery store early and I'm typically not in any hurry to shop. But if you're rushed for time, it may cause some hang-ups.”
