“Crosswhite fitness and spa has a lot to offer. Tennis, pickleball, racket ball, indoor pool, weights and massage too. I am personally a pickleball addict and love the 4 indoor courts. Cindy at the front desk is wonderful too.”

“I walked into Align Athletics 2 years ago and I never expected to find my community. This place is the best gym in Lynchburg hands down. The coaches are some of the nicest and down to earth people I have met. They offer a wide variety of fitness options and gym subscriptions. If all this hasn’t persuaded you to try them out then keep reading.I signed up for the 7 day trial and walked into this gym over 300lbs nervous because I hadn’t done a set workout in a while but knowing I needed something. As a bigger girl I have had people make assumptions about my physical abilities and honestly be a little judgmental (especially in a gym setting). This could not be farther from the truth with Align. I was greeted at the door by a coach who introduced themself and gathered some workout history from me. Then after that I had numerous people in the class that day introduce themselves and welcome me to class that day. They cheered me on as I fought my way through the workout and celebrated me when I finished. Everyday I came back I was greeted and I was cheered on. I had members who offered to help curate recipes to fit my lifestyle to help with sustaining my nutrition goals. I have had them help me work on form and technique. Never once have they made me feel less than or bothersome because I didn’t know the motion or needed extra help. Over the past two years these people became my people. They have been a support system in and outside of the gym. What really made me sign up for a membership was the fact that they care about me! They care about my safety and developing great habits. This place is so special and I wish everyone would give them a chance.”

“Chad and Alaya are exceptional, as are all of the other instructors. I no longer live in the area but make it a point to take classes every time I come to visit. Best workout experience I've ever had anywhere. I don't think it can be beat.”

“The Academy is by far the best sports & fitness facility in the area! The circuit is for every level of fitness. Everyone can do this workout, you can intensify your workout depending on where you are personally in your fitness journey. This class environment is about positive encouragement. I am now personally involved with my academy family. Parker will help you facilitate your fitness/sports goals with the personal attention that you need to be successful. You will see results. Our daughter goes to American Warrior Ninja Camp here as well. If you watch the TV show, the experience for kids is exciting and the only offering in the area. My daughter's strength and confidence is growing each week. I have also seen the youth workouts. If you have a teenager engaged in a sport, the sports training with Parker is one of the most valuable investments you could make as a parent to give your child the edge they need to be competitive. I highly recommend anyone to not just look at the academy as an option, but come to the free first class and try the experience! You will not regret your decision!”

“I had a great experience during my time with Snap Fitness. The gym stayed clean, they had a great staff, prices were reasonable, and it was almost never crowded. The biggest downfall for me was with there only being one piece of equipment for each move (in the free weight section). If someone was benching or squatting I would have to wait until they finished up (which isn't a huge deal). Also, I would highly recommend a deadlift platform (or at least a dedicated space) and a deadlift jack. Its tough to find a little area to get out of people’s way to do deadlifts, and a jack would be a lifesaver to easily get the weights on and off the bar. Other than that, there’s a great selection of cardio equipment and weight machines. They are in a new building now and it seems to spread equipment out a little more. I like the new place.”

“Joining CrossFit Lynchburg two years ago completely changed my life in the best way possible. I'm a mom of two little ones and I was a complete newbie in the CrossFit world. Needless to say, it's easy to feel intimidated when you're trying something new!Through excellent coaching and the encouragement from my class, I was hooked. I've remained consistent in class attendance and have seen a complete transformation - not only in my physical health, but in other aspects of my life as well. You can't exactly measure grit, resiliency or courage in a picture, but I've grown in all of these areas. You don't have to be "fit" enough or "strong" enough to start CrossFit. You just need a coachable spirit and a willingness to risk being bad at something before becoming good at it. If you've been curious to try CrossFit but were too nervous to try, this is your sign: do it. 10/10 recommend CrossFit Lynchburg.”

“Planet fitness prides itself in being a no judgment zone. I agree with this philosophy. I think that removing the weight scales however was a little over the top. I asked and was told it was a management decision. Being able to monitor one's weight is an important tool to your progress and a motivational incentive.”

“LOVE this gym! The staff is incredible and the environment is very welcoming and supportive. No matter what your goals are, you can achieve them here. The sauna and hydro massage beds are also perfect for recovery or relaxation!”

“Had a birthday party there. Really nice spacious room for the kids to eat. Had an incident with a kid tackling other kids. Wife had to break it up or there most likely would have been a fight. "Refs" there kicked the rough housing kids out.”
