This daycare was wonderful prior to COVID but now the quality of education there has gone downhill. I had 2 children enrolled there over the course of 6 years and paid them thousands of dollars for the care. When COVID began, the school, thankfully, stayed open but masked all children 2 years and older. When I asked for a exemption for my 4 year old, I was denied the exemption and shamed by the director of the school for wanting my child to attend maskless. I then took my concerns to the board of directors and was spoken down to by the chairman, who is an employee at University of Lynchburg. He was incredibly disrespectful and very dismissive of my concerns. My daughter, as a result of wearing a mask, now has completed a year of speech therapy and she ended up having to repeat kindergarten as a result of learning loss. The director of the daycare at the time still works at the school and the board of directors chairman also still serves on the board. Don't use this school if you want to be taken seriously when bringing up concerns about your children.
