If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT ORDER BLINDS cut and installed by Home Depot. I started a very basic order for 2 honeycomb blinds over two months ago. Things have been bungled each and every step of the way and I still don't have the blinds. I was relieved to finally be scheduled for installation today at long last. But when installer came he found the shades were cut wrong at the store. Now I'm waiting for a manager to phone me and start all over again while Home Depot has had my money for weeks and weeks. Worst customer service ever!

The absolute worst. Went in bought $897 worth of material. No trucks available. Won't let me reserve one. Finally two days, and six trips to the store later I wait around for two hours.... Then I get a truck. Bad business! If you have a customer that spends that much at least let them reserve a truck. Give them a 20 min window. SOMETHING!! Anything is better than saying sorry when you aren't.

This review is months after getting a new Whirlpool frig and dishwasher. We love the new appliances but the installation was horrible. It interesting since this is something that we pay extra for and assume that the subcontractor that Home Depot is competent. Apparently not. Long story short, the dishwasher isn't working anymore and had to get Whirlpool themselves to come out to fix. Long list of "why did they do this" from the service person. Things fixed include misaligned door, chassis not sitting level, insulation not put in correctly, kickpanel mis-assembled, securing screws not put in correctly/in right place, garbage left under dishwasher, etc. Good news is I found a good appliance servicer B&B out of WV. I went to Home Depot to complain and got my money back for the install. Next time, I may hire a third party who will give more attention.

We placed an order for new toilets on Monday and indicated we wanted to have them installed. We were told someone would call us within 48 hours to schedule the installation. It is now Friday and I have yet to hear from anyone. Tried calling the store to check on it and no one will answer the phone! I am beginning to regret that I went to Home Depot over another store. This is not great customer service HD..........this is not the way to treat someone who has spent their hard earned dollar in your store.

While it pains me to leave this review, no it doesn't, this place sucks. I don't know how many OSHA violations they do a day but honestly this place lacks safety and common sense. I routinely go into the lumber department and there is wood unsecured, bays with no chains, unlocked ladders, pallets on the floor, I mean the list goes on. The small redeeming factor is the few associates I have interacted with were pleasant. But I would take cranky associates in a safe store over friendly associates who don't do their job. My warning to you is be careful in the lumber department.

The representatives in the Leesburg VA store if you go there in person are fabulous--polite, eager to help, just wonderful. However, telephone service is horrible: usually no one answers, it just rings and rings. After about 42 rings I give up and try several more times with the same result. It's the managers' fault. He, she, they are never visible or accessible in the store. The workers never know if or when the manager(s) is even there. So I finally and for the first time called their corporate headquarters' customer service. Awful. I talked to one rep who put me on hold, promising to come back with her answer, and after a long wait the phone starts ringing and a totally new rep answers who informed me that my call had come in to her not as a transferred call but a brand new call. There's an old saying that the fish starts to stink from the head. Well, the corporate leadership at Home Depot is obviously inferior.

Was looking to remodel our sunroom and went to lumber section and was helped by a very knowledgeable and helpful young man Vincent. Great customer service. I will come back to this Home Depot!

This isn't really about this specific location, but is about their corp supply chain, horrible phone tree customer service, and limited online capabilities. The actual delivery crew did a good job. Here's a brief rundown of the issues. First, we purchased a Bosch dishwasher on July 13, with a delivery date of July 24. Truck shows up on the 24th and they discover the new dishwasher had a broken door when they opened the box. It looked like the package had been tossed around a warehouse. We were told that we could not schedule the delivery of the replacement online, so my wife suffered through the horrible and time consuming customer service phone tree and was given a re-delivery date of August 5. However, that new delivery date never appeared on our online account, which continued to show that the dishwasher (the broken one) had been delivered/installed on July 24. A few days later, we received an email saying that the delivery had been rescheduled to August 24. A couple of weeks later, we received an email saying that deliver had now been rescheduled to August 31. Apparently, there were supply chain issues with Bosch. I don't understand why this wasn't previously knowable. Had we been made aware that it would take this long maybe we would have considered a different option, but that choice was taken away by the secrecy. Moreover, and more importantly, my wife and I work at home, so each time they changed dates or times we had to readjust our work schedules. By August 30 we still had not received notification of the delivery arrival window that was scheduled for the next day. Finally, around 8pm, my wife suffered through the time consuming phone tree yet again, and was told the arrival window was 2-6pm. A 4-hour window is nuts! But they couldn't even get that right. Around 12:30pm on August 31 we received a call letting us know that the delivery would be arriving around 1pm, an hour before the beginning of the arrival window, thus interrupting our work schedules, as we had planned around the 2-6 quoted window. Not going to buy an appliance from Home Depot ever again.

I have been a customer of Home Depot for thirty years. I have seen a deterioration of customer service across most Home Depots. The branch on Fort Evans in Leesburg is especially badly managed and has new hires that lack proper customer service training. I spoke with a manager with regards to the self service vs the cashier supported checkout line. As a principle, I choose to do business through the cashier line because I believe that I will keep generating employment at any business I engage with if I choose to interact with human beings. If I use a self service checkout, I should then get a discount for processing and bagging my merchandise. This is a fundamental problem with all self service checkouts for me and many of my friends that I know. If a business chooses to only function by a self service checkout, I and my friends choose to do business with a competitor. I think that Home Depot wants to cater to both kind of costumers. However, the lack of proper training at this particular location negates the customer's choice. Please note that there is active competition to Home Depot in the area. I will discuss this issue with my friends and we will choose to vote with our money buy spending it with the competition if the training is not going to be up to par. I wrote this note as a loyal customer of thirty years and felt it was my duty to inform Home Depot's management to the shoddy customer service at the Fort Evans location in Leesburg.

Sure, the Home Depot rep replied. "That is a great deal, you should buy the blower someone else returned. Sure it works they probably just decided they didn't want it. 25 mile drive and got home to a product that didn't even come close to working. Now I've got to drive back and return it!!!!!! That is total crap service. Bops faced lied to my face. Go get-um HOME DEPOT !

Very disappointed that I was very delayed to receive a quote at our home for shutters or blinds as the person ( company ) struggled to send us an email and respond. I like the store and the location. The store is clean and staff is hard working. I would highly suggest using this store but maybe not for referral service ( especially shutters and blinds from Rockwood sShutter and Blinds).

Was so impressed with this store. They are wearing gloves, masks and have hand sanitizer available. Also I am so pleased with their customer service! I reluctantly asked a woman at the paint store where to find a squeegee. But she enthusiastically told me three places in the store where I could find it! Wow, I love this place.

Becca was phenomenal, she went above and beyond the call of duty and helped me with my emergency request last minute. I will definitely be returning and recommending all of my friends and family to come to the store and request for her, she is the definition of GREAT customer service.

Went in today to return something. I don't usually go inside stores anymore but had to do the return. Customers not properly wearing masks. Employees masks not covering their noses. Just disgusting.

I ordered a griddle from here and paid extra to have it delivered on Saturday June 6th. They "forgot" to put it on the truck. After spending an hour on the phone I was told I would receive a call from the manager. Never got a call. Called Sunday and after spending almost 2 hours on the phone I asked for them to just cancel my order. They said they couldn't and to just refuse the delivery. Asked to speak to a manager and received a rude response. Finally I was transferred to the managers phone where I left a voicemail, and never got a call back. Several days later I come home and the griddle is sitting in my driveway where I need to park in the pouring rain. Horrible customer service.
