Gem of all gems. Sales lady is a living museum. They only accept cash, so go prepared! One piece of candy is free, love that for the kids. I stop in when I'm feeling depressed with the modern world.

For quality horse tack, riding clothes, and stable supplies at excellent prices and good advice, this is the place to visit. My daughter is a avid rider but never had to buy anything. She is headed to horse school and needed everything. I know very little about the subject. The owner, Alice, runs a one woman operation in an old country store. Like the stores of old, she offers everything from antiques to riding tack to sharpening services to candy and cold drinks. There is no bathroom, but she can direct you to the farmer's market down the street. No dressing room, but she will diligently protect your privacy while you are hidden by a door and a large shelf. She gave good advice as she fitted my daughter for saddles, boots, and tack. If she didn't have something, she told us where to get it and how to asses it. I looked around and I know we bought quality goods for 60-80% less than the mainstream supply stores.
