Normally, I don't Have a Problem with Hopewell Pharmacy, A Few years ago known as Hometown Drug Store. Have Been an On going Customer For a while! But, It's hard on me to Go get my Med's. Especially the Norcotic one's. Here, Lately They keep having Back orders. Since the Back orders, I'm having to Go to WALMART, WHICH I REALLY HATE. TO MUCH WALKING, AND LONG LINES HARD ON ME TO STAND THAT LONG. AND THE ATTITUDES FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS AT WALMART. CAUSES ME TO HAVE A PANIC ATTACK.. HOPEWELL DRUG, HURTING ME..

I used to have all of my prescriptions filled at one of the big name drugstores locally. At some point recently , they shut down their pharmacy and no matter who I asked, they would not tell me why or when they were going to reopen. It was almost as if they were going to be closed permanently or something. I found out later that the air-conditioning had gone out in the pharmacy portion of the building. All they had to do was tell me that and I would have understood but they refused to tell me. Made no sense to me. Anyway, I quickly moved all of my prescriptions to the local small business drugstore (Hometown Drug). They've been really great to work with. They actually answer their phone and you can speak with someone pretty quickly. I think I'll stick with these guys.

This is by far the best pharmacy I have ever dealt with! They have a friendly staff and they refill prescriptions very quickly as you wait. I’ve been with them for 6 years and have never experienced any problems.I Love them!!

INSANELY GOOD service, speed, communication. Transferred from CVS and surprise surprise, they didn't send over all of my medications. They showed me extreme patience when I asked for them to please call CVS again (and the CVS here is notorious for not answering the phone, which means its a hassle for the pharmacy tech to transfer them over) ... and they did!!!!! and did so quickly!!! no asking me if I'm sure, telling me I'm wrong, not keeping my refills on a timely basis, which I've gotten before at every other pharmacy. A great example of how a pharmacy should be, and by far the best around.

Since changing ownership, this Pharmacy has really declined in service.Received text that prescriptions were ready. Upon pick up at drive through, was informed there were NO prescriptions ready?Showed the text, and the lady was just trying to send me down the road instead of figuring out what prescriptions were ready by text.You're greeted with a scowl,and disgruntled feeling by most employees now. Place has definitely changed, in service and attitude. for the worse.

Love the small-town feel. Prescriptions are ready quickly, calls are answered promptly and no waiting in lines. They'll even deliver!
