Terrible experience across the board. Go anywhere else for a rental car.

My overall experience w/Enterprise was average minus the lack of vehicles choices when it comes to availability. This negative review is only due to their affiliation w/Highway Toll Administration LLC. They schemed up an unethical practice to charge bogus toll fees w/o providing valid proof. Don't believe me; Check out BBB with similar incidents.

I strongly advise against using this Enterprise location under any circumstances. My experience with their "after hours drop off" service was a complete nightmare. Days after I had returned the vehicle I rented, they hit me with an absurd cleaning fee. When I reached out to inquire about this excessive charge, I was met with an infuriating response from Michael, who claimed that the vehicle smelled of smoke.Let me be crystal clear: during our family trip, absolutely no one smoked or lit anything inside the vehicle. We had mostly children with us, and none of the passengers are smokers. This baseless accusation is not just offensive; it's outright fraudulent and an attack on my integrity. When I pointed out that Michael's ludicrous claim of "this happens all the time" might indicate that he's wrongly charging customers, he hung up on me. This level of customer service is beyond appalling, and I am utterly disgusted with this location's unethical practices.Save yourself the headache and avoid this Enterprise branch at all costs. They are clearly more interested in inventing fees than providing honest and respectful service to their customers.

I have in the past had good experiences with enterprise. Everyone is very friendly, etc.. I had the misfortune of my car breaking down in Fredericksburg, Virginia-had to get an Uber to Northern Virginia-100.00 I rented a car from the Herndon location expecting it to only take three days-I booked through Costco. On Friday I had to update my rental because my car wasn’t ready. Which I did on the phone with Mike and I said well I have to have at least through the end of the day Monday because they’re closed over the weekend. To speed up the story-I ended up having the car for three weeks and one day. When I was turning the car in.(because Mike said I couldn’t drop it off at the Fredericksburg Enterprise-so I had another hundred dollar Uber ride back to Fredericksburg .) I said, don’t I qualify for the weekly rate-he said no it is what you book at when you originally get the car. Costco only has a record of my having the car three days-so when they review that other 2 1/2 weeks was a brand new rental-and my understanding from Customer Service is he should’ve just gone in and changed on that Friday when it was clear I was going to have a minimum of a week to a weekly rental. After I started reviewing my bank account and seeing that I had spent $1400 at enterprise alone.-I went to their website and very clearly. It said you have a cheaper rate the longer you rent. The weekly rate would’ve qualified be to have spent only $750 so I asked for a manager to call me.. on three different occasions. I posted a negative review on yelp two days ago and someone responded. We want to look into this sent us all the details-no response-if I had the money I’m gonna say that’s their standard thing that they say to make people think that they were looking into it when I wonder how many people who have posted reviews that are not positive have actually heard back from the company-or is this just a way of manipulating reviews on their part. I I have a way with three negative reviews in my entire life. I have written quite a few positive reviews because I think it’s important to acknowledge. Good service. The fact is -if the area manager had returned my call-after asking on three different occasions for him to call-even if I was not happy with the ultimate outcome-I would probably not be here posting a negative review. People make mistakes. Things don’t always turn out exactly how we want. I get that. But ignoring a customer who has made the outreach on several occasions to talk to management-it’s not only horrible customer service-it’s just plain bad business practice

Disappointed to hear that this location accused my family and our family friends of having smoked and left ash in the rental when in fact nobody in our party smokes. We took care to make sure there wasn’t sand leftover in the rental from the beach and that it was in the same shape we left it in. Unsure of where this claim originated from, but it affects the character of all who enjoyed the rental and our trip.

Overall, terrible customer service. They’re scarily eager to charge you for things that did not happen. Management and corporate said multiple times that they will reach out but I’ve yet to hear from anyone. This was a terrible end to an otherwise great family trip.

The manager and the assistant manager aren’t just renting cars, they’re conscientious and caring about the needs of their customers! And The cars are in pristine condition. I wouldn’t want to rent a car from anywhere else!

I had such a great experience at the Herndon enterprise. I was having unexpected car troubles and was in a bit of a rush to get a car, I didn’t reserve a car online just went straight in. Unfortunately they didn’t have any cars available but Michael Chang called two other nearby locations for me to see if they had anything, unfortunately they were all booked as well. He told me they would probably have one the next day so I reserved one online when I got home. When I went to pick it up the next day, Michael was also helping me and he actually gave me an upgrade! The entire process was pretty simple and I even had to call to extend my reservation. 10/10, I’d recommend them to anyone.

Mike was very helpful, friendly and professional. He demonstrated exemplary care and integrity. I was very impressed with how he handled a difficult situation. Mike sets the bar incredibly high, and should be recognized for his efforts. Mike is truly an asset to Enterprise, and has successfully won me over, as I will always return to Mike/Enterprise. His managers need to be aware of the amazing customer service that Mike brings. Thank you Mike for the 10/10 service. PS: loved the Wagoneer.

Michael Manai is the man. My vehicle was stolen and he definitely made sure to take care of me before I got my new car. Thank you Michael!

If you are staying in a hotel nearby they are very convenient. But you will pay for this convenience. The vehicle I rented was not running well, making a scraping noise whenever I accelerated. They do not deliver a vehicle with a full gas tank. Their rental and return windows are limited and if you can't make it you pay for the additional day(s).Their paperwork is done on a small, dim, tablet. The normal questions are asked and places to initial for denying insurance coverage when your insurance is covering your car already. The sales person tells you dire reasons why you really need the coverage and in this instance should make an exception and actually get it even if you have your own coverage. When you still decline, he shows you the four places to initial to decline coverage. It isn't readable, just big boxes to initial and a signature line at the bottom. The wording on one of the boxes says '...coverage waiver...' and when you ask about it they tell you yes, initial here to decline coverage. You are given no copy or allowed to hold the tablet to try to read the document. When you get your receipt emailed, it shows you opted for coverage - $99. When you call and ask for a copy of what you signed and explain how clearly you declined the coverage, you are told that you initialed the place where you accepted coverage - the coverage waiver box. When you say you're going to have to dispute the charge they say, you could have had an accident and we would have been liable. No, you aren't getting any refund.
