The town forces it's residents to buy a $15 decal to put on their vehicle or face a $35 fine starting. This is anti American and something Americas founders were opposed to. Avoid at all cost!

TikTok has a video of the police chief forcing the towns citizens to purchase stickers for each of their cars so they will not receive a ticket for not having the sticker displayed on their vehicle. Mind you to get these stickers you must bring in the current registration and your ID (must match registration) to The Town Hall to acquire this sticker. They are only open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 (a lunch hour was not specified). Mind you this is a one time purchase as long as you own the vehicle (each vehicle). I do not see how it is legal. I may be missing some information but from an outside point of view it seems unethical and wrong to extort people with the threat of a ticket or worse (Chief stated they would take "other corrective actions").

I noticed the only review of Haymarket Town Hall was an upset person regarding a cross walk. I couldn't let that be the only review. That trivializes the hard work the town does. I'm a new local business owner and I've never worked with a kinder, more helpful government office. They have gone above and beyond to help me and answer any questions I had. Thank you and good work.

Tried to cross the street at 15 & 55 from Sheetz to CVS and there was NO WAY TO CROSS. Why would there be NOT CROSSWALKS FOR R PEDESTRIANS? I FIND THAT RIDICULOUS! Cars never slowed down is had to walk back to get my car... Haymarket is trying to be pedestrian friendly but fails miserably. While I am venting also why would the lanes to go straight on 55 and to turn right be in the same lane? That only Bogs down traffic terribly in town. Whoever designed and signed off on this was not very intelligent. There was plenty of room to do it right...again n FAIL
