Were visiting from out of town with friends also from the upper Midwest. We appreciated the variety of vendors, but we did note that it was a very small market. That said, the offerings were delicious and eclectic. Just don't expect to spend more than 30 min there.

Local farmer produces and organic produce with a lot of good stuff on the weekends
The Harrisonburg Farmers' Market is a staple of downtown Harrisonburg and has been since 1979. Located in the Turner Pavilion, here, you can find homegrown farm products like fresh produce and plants, homemade prepared food, baked and canned goods, handmade art and most importantly, a beautiful community.
