Attention manager:Tuesday night around 7:00 p.m. February 20th I tried to fill my car with gas but something wasn't working so I went inside where the oversized Latina girl inside was no help at all.She was on her cell phone playing a video game while I was standing in the lobby asking for helpshe wouldn't even look up!!I kept asking for help and she was more interested in her cell phone game then to assist a customer!!I was so frustrated I decided to leave take my business elsewhere!I live in the neighborhood and if that's an example of customer service my family and I will not returnPlease look into this matter thank you

I was truly impressed with the level of competence and customer service by the new manager and master mechanic Keving Hwang.I took my BMW to Yorktown Shell with a bit of hesitancy as I always had biased towards independent auto repair shops to work on high-end German cars. I tried a few of the larger auto repair shops that specialize in European cars but the only reason for avoiding the dealers was due to cost. Kevin was highly recommended by several friends who now drive Uber and they could not stop gushing about about good Kevin was at fixing cars for reasonable prices. So, I took a chance and took my senior citizen 2007 BMW 5 series to Kevin and I expected a huge bill as the car needed major repairs. I drive the car intermittently also prior to taking the car in when the radiator decided to go Mt. St. Helens on me. I needed new brakes, new radiator or radiator fix, new tires and I also had problem with engine misfire- a potentially a death sentence for a car with. 175k miles on it. Kevin told me immediately that it would take at least a week or more in order to fix the car to be a reliable and fun car. This old BMW drives better than most new ones due to its special suspension. So I was willing to spend some serious money to fix everything.Long story short, it took ten days and the car runs almost like new. Kevin sent me the photos of all the work that needed to be done. Tires, brakes, radiator, emission failure, engine issues, tires, etc. His work vastly exceeded my expectations. Car drive like it should and the total repair bill was about half of what I expected-especially compared to the dealers. Kevin is also a certified Virginia emissions expert and he was able to fix the reason for my car failing Virginia emissions. Inspection. His expertise proved to be a huge money saver and I m truly in debt for his honest and master professionalism. I recommend Kevin totally. He is as good or better than any mechanic I have ever met in my life. I land I have met many mechanics and dealers as I m a 62 year old car enthusiast.My great experience with Yorktown Shell and Kevin Hwang is a very unique one when it comes to automobile repairs.Guess who is my go-to guy for my cars? ?Robert K.Centreville, VA.

Kevin is hands down one of the best mechanics in Northern VA. He is honest about what repairs are actually needed and his prices are more than fair. I followed Kevin from his prior location because he has always gone out of his way to make sure my car is serviced properly for more than five years!

I was recommended to Yorktown shell to see Kevin the mechanic at the shop on Friday past July 22,22 I called and spoke with him about what was needed,which was an an ac recharge he gave me a price and I arrived there 30 minutes after our conversation.He and I had previously spoke a week before and he suggested I bring the car in bc as he mentioned "probably need ac refrigerant recharge" Upon pulling up in front of the shops bay I stood outside of my car where I was visible and seen by Kevin and the other onlooking mechanics.In as much I described my make of car but understand that most shops policy states to not enter through the bay area.So finally after being totally ignored for 30 minutes I asked 1 of the observant mechanics if Kevin was there (since I wasn't asked if I could be helped) when he made himself available he confirmed the price $120 for the recharge and says"if ac air not kool after recharge it would be $60.00 per hour to make kool air" I agreed and left to have lunch.He then texted me back an hour later with a picture of 1 of my front headlights out and asked on the text "y headlight out and ur car is ready."When I came to pick up the car he said "the ac is fine and running normal kool air so no charge"Well this was strange bc it was confirmed by 2 other shops that I needed a recharge but their prices were too high.I thanked Kevin but did not see my car near the shop or bay.He had parked my car 7 minutes of a walk away in the public parking area away from his shop nearly behind the Aldi food store.WT Hell!!! who does that! and why ? there was space for customers cars at his shop I asked if he could return my car he said "short walk we no have time," Good thing I don't have problems walking eh !!!I would not recommend any black people to patronize this shop bc my treatment was extremely racist ,nasty, disrespectful and rude.He and his non ethical and non professional practices would have not been done to any white person or Asian customers I'm sureBc my car ac is still blowing out warm air I have continued searching for a reasonable price shop to do the rechargeIn closing black people recognize racism on most levels in this society and it's people like Kevin the mehanic that keeps racism afloat!!! I intend to take this unfair and discriminatory incident to a higher legislation within the city of Merrifield and state of VA.Meanwhile people whom r darker than blue stay far away from this so called business !!!WORK TO DO !!!

Convenient location with brand new gas dispenser. Clean and efficient, helpful staff.I would recommend this place for inspection and auto repair. Kevin , the service advisor is very knowledgeable

The new manager of the autoshop and the new mechanics were awesome!! I recently hit a block of ice and my bumper fell out but they were able to put it together and smooth the dents out in 30 minutes. I have never been to a mechanic who charged so honestly for the job. He also made sure that everything else was intact and even checked the level of fluids. They were very organized, efficient, and fairly priced (I would say a lot less than other places by comparison) that from now on, I will only be trusting them with my car.

One of my co worker at INOVA hospital had mentioned about this place to me , I had spent over a thousand dollars on my car with electrical problem at the dealership with no use , the dealership had replace the alternator/ battery and a couple of other things , my car still had starting issues , the mechanic at this shell station diagnosed the issue , which was a blown fuse due to an electrical short in the cigarette lighter. Total cost $79.99 I would highly recommend this place , they are located next to Five Guys. They dropped me and picked me up from work , which is not far but I did appreciate the convenience

Got fraud message from bank, every customer was going in paying because machine was not working. The machine ask questions and ask me to keep card in and not pull out quickly and put in my pin and then it was gray. They charge my card 85 but my called and sent me a message. The owner did not care when I called. I think they now and dont carebank cut it off
