This is my favorite Giant in NoVA! It always has great products, supplies, and high quality produce available. And I love love the sushi! Much better than other locations I have gone to.

This is my go-to weekly grocery store, and it's usually well-stocked and well-organized, and prices are reasonable. That said, the produce scales / label makers always seem to be broken.
Update on 6/8/24—all three were broken this morning! It’s a hassle.

I need to express my frustration with the automated tellers. They are continually malfunctioning while chastising you the entire time. Tonight there were 4 machines down with customers waiting; including an employee, with no customer service in sight. When she did arrive she pulled three items out my bag that were not scanned and the implication was that I had done that purposely. I find the experience infuriating, especially because it happens everytime I shop at Giant. The icing on the cake is when that machine reminds me to take my groceries in what I perceive as a snarky tone. Unacceptable and it is time to make a correction. Infuriated.

I went there at 4pm on Sunday May 19. I happened to passed by an employee name Frank, asked him to check if they still have thymes in stock because it seemed like it’s out on the selves. His respond was “you see, I have lots of things I have to get done.”
I live in this area for more than 20 years and this is the first time in my life that I got such a rude from Giant employees like this.

Amazing customer service from Mr. Aloyce on 3/17/24 at 5:30 PM. Aloyce is a true asset to the Giant company. Impressed with my wonderful Giant store and all its fantastic products!

Remember. They hire people no one else will. These wonderful employees never show up late. Are loyal. Are happy to be employed. Next time you grocery shop... go to giant. My austic daughter fills your orders. Her disorder means your order is perfect as she is precisely accurate, related to her austim. Never had an order wrong.

They've ratcheted up the self-checkout anti-theft measures, so much so that it's basically impossible to do it yourself. Also, the Boston creme and jelly donuts are always sold out.

It's a grocery store! If this is the Broad St location the variety is a little less exciting and they don't have everything every time. The Giant on 50 and Gram has bigger selection but not always better.

I agree with most comments, I don't go to this place for the customer service, it is very deficient, specially at the self service stations.But...….tonight Jake from the Deli department, was a true example of how customer service should be. Even though the Deli was closed, he insisted on helping after i suggested i would just grab some pre packed turkey. He happily helped me with cutting some fresh turkey slices, and all throughout with a great attitude.This is the first time in 2 years of me shopping at this location that I get a good service like this, even to motivate me to write this review.Make sure Jake is being remunerated properly, because he exemplifies what you all as a corporation should have for employees.

I shopped a lot at the store and usually have no issues. However, I did find out that some staff at the front desk would allow people to cut the line and accommodate them first. I don't understand why they gave priority to some people. But it certainly is unfair to the rest of customers. With that being said, most staff are friendly and helpful.
