Just stay away from the army jacket guy. Seriously. And be sure not to set your bag or anything down while you try something on or else he will take it, rummage through it and then interrogate and threaten you. Very bizarre. The other workers are very nice though.

Absolutely love this place. Things are very well kept and organized. Not the biggest selection, but that’s because things seem like they’re chosen carefully and not just thrown together.

This is the best thrift store in the DMV!!!! A huge part of why I will be returning is not only because of the cause and selection but, also because of the extremely kind staff!!!!The gentleman working today was very kind and helpful and we got to chat about some cool vinyls I picked up for my mom and I’s new collection we recently started-I feel like I hit the jackpot and it makes it all better that this in support of Capital Carings Mission!! Can’t wait to visit often!!!!!

All the staff are super friendly and have a very good attitude Whenever I go wanting a specific garment, be it color or size, I find it ❤️❤️Yesterday I passed by there again and found just what I wanted, a divine red dress, so as soon as my online order arrives, I will return everything I ordered online lolll and I even found divine Christmas decorations, I always leave more than happy for my purchases there. Capital Caring ❤️

This is a thrift shop on a mission! They support Capitol Caring Hospice. I love to donate and shop here! It is staffed mainly with volunteers, so don’t compare it to a business please. It is a charity, so be charitable. For folks who groused about the hours being wrong. That was on Google! The store’s website has correct hours. I checked the website and updated the listing on Google for them. If Google accepts my edits the search results page should be correct. Also this supports a health care organization. So if they ask us to wear masks, just do it or leave. No need to leave a bad review. I am grateful they are in our community to help ease the burdens of those at the end of life. Thank you!!!

I’ve been going to this thrift store ever since i was a little kid and I guess I’d say I grew up with the store. I don’t have an issue with the workers and they’re helpful. There’s really much I can say than the fact that hey the place is small but it’s at least better than goodwill(based on the stuff i’ve heard about how they treat their staff). I’ll continue going there with my mom for as long as it’s there. :)
