I had my first apointment here with Yamil today and seriously cannot recommend the experience enough. I knew I wanted a unique short cut but wasn't exactly sure what I wanted that to look like, so we went slowly, and Yamil listened to me the whole way. I came out with a new favorite haircut, maybe the best I've ever had in my LIFE! On top of that, every person I talked to was incredibly sweet. (Also, the inside is decorated really cool, which was a bonus for me.) A fantastic experience!

Good friend of mine recommended Jules! It was easy to book a consult and then my hair appt for another day. Love the salon and everyone I had an encounter with was friendly. Jules actively listened to what I wanted done and exceeded my expectations. She was easy to talk to also which I genuinely appreciate! Really happy with how my hair turned out! Highly recommend

Requested style: I don’t think I ever requested a style. Jana simply knew which haircut would work best for me.
Stylist: Jana has been cutting my hair ever since I walked into the salon 9 years ago. Her wonderful cuts have given me confidence and peace of mind that my hair always looks its best.

I absolutely loved my experience at Mara! Scheduling and check in was a breeze, the front desk was lovely. The energy of the place is so comforting. I’ve been seeing my stylist Jules for years and I adore her work. I always leave her chair feeling so good and beautiful. And always happy! She’s a great stylist but also one of the kindest people I know. I highly recommend visiting Mara!

My husband bought me a gift certificate and I went to Jules to get my hair colored and cut. I love what she did! I'm going back to finish the color. She is very talented with color. Highly recommend her.

Best balayage and cut by Jules! She did a fabulous job blending gray over my ears into the blonde. Salon has great vibes, friendly culture and fabulous tunes!

I've visited this salon twice. My first impressions were pleasant; I felt well accommodated and welcomed. However, my last visit was disappointing. The difference between my first and second visits is night and day. The pregnant lady at the front desk was unwelcoming, seemed miffed, and was snappy. Despite being late, which I apologized for, she made it clear she did not like that. Additionally, I had to initiate conversations with my stylist, which made the experience awkward. When I asked about a certain haircut, my stylist's response was, "I don't care, it's not my hair." While not said aggressively, I believe there are better ways to respond. Despite the salon having talented stylists and happy clients, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business or my stylist.

They did a fantastic job, I am very particular about my hair for a guy. But I would highly recommend them for anyone who is skeptical about getting a haircut/trim in the area.
