Been here 4 yrs but Honestly, I’m so disappointed for a membership 150 bucks a month every time I visit the sauna it is broken. The bathroom is broken the floor is broken. It’s so ridiculous. I don’t come very often but when I do it’s such a disappointment. I need to look else where that has things consistent

Oct '24: Another $10/mo increase.
Changing from 5 Star to 1 Star. Look at your trends on Google, dismal. I'm paying $255/mo for my family, $20/mo increase this year. Y'all have taken away the basketball courts to add pickleball to make more money. Tonight at 1730 I went to the compound lift racks, racked all my weights and was kicked off by Risa for her Alpha class. No signs present BTW she just expected everyone to bend to her demands. Upon inquiry, you have to pay to upgrade memberships for Alpha.
Y'all run Alpha at the busiest times, consume 12/15 racks, and expect paying patrons to be ok with this so you can make more money.
I will be discussing this with corporate. Risa ruined the end of my compound lift routine. Other patrons on the floor were equally unhappy with the racks being taken up for Alpha.
If y'all want to make lifetime a pay for everything experience, then do that and cut my rates, otherwise I won't be moving in the future for equipment I'm entitled to for the insanely high prices I'm paying for lifetime.

On 09/26/24 at 9:12 am I called to get information regarding a membership but extremely rude receptionist hanged up because I repeated “Good morning” twice and she refused to be polite enough to say good morning back. Lack of customer service skills. No longer interested in joining that type of environment.

Bad experience at Gaithersburg Maryland location, is not fair how the GM treats the employees of this location, also the operation manager is racist person , he is an uneducated person who arrived at work and doesn’t greet there is not good morning our good afternoon to the employees from his employees, Last week while I was at the gym i heard that several employees where affected by carbon monoxide, they should be treated better, stop been racist don’t matter where we come from o what race we are stop treating employees like slave I have proof of all this I have written like i say is sad that this big company have general manager (GM) and operations manager (OP) like them

First of all - great club . Schedule is convenient and considerate for all types of needs. Today I was at James B.class “ upper body workshop “. James is a great trainer but furthermore teacher ! James cares about fitness about your experience and my class was GREAT! James is G. O.A.T!

Great gym offering a variety of workout options and I especially enjoyed the new showers after the renovations. I frequently go here to work out. The check in staff are very friendly.

Excellent gym. You got a bit of everything here from pickleball courts, massage rooms, Pilates, pool. All the staff and trainers are super friendly and facilities are usually super clean.

Updating to 3.5/5 because once I communicated my frustration to staff, in particular the manager Jacob, he did an excellent job of empathizing, correcting, and communicating to make sure things were addressed.

Frustrating that their sauna is broken every other week and usable like half of the time and they charge $138/month. Yet, I see at 24 hour fitness somehow their sauna works consistently for $28/month. The answer is inferior management. Failed to deliver. The other LT locations are great though, just fairfax consistently fails its end of the deal.

Impossible to measure disappointment with this facility. No showers for men, shoddy workout areas compared to other Lifetimes and poorly managed pool.
It's customer service has also been subpar and very no flippant to problems.
If my price goes up one more time I'm out

The swimming pool has so much chloride added to it I guess it has a strong smell which gives me headaches.

The absence of functional showers for months has severely tarnished my experience. Despite promises of renovation completion by March 20th, the men's shower area remained unfinished well into April. This lack of basic amenities is unacceptable for a gym that promotes health and fitness.

Former LT personal trainer and LT lifer (and always will). However, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a LT with this uninspired of a staff / concierge (specifically concierge).Sadly really unwelcoming and rude.But at least the people folding towels are kind :)
