Room was clean, but $200.00 for Emporia is ridiculous. Besides a horrible "casino," there is nothing else there.

Lady at check in was very friendly (6/14/24 at 1030pm)
Bed was clean but uncomfortable (old?) and the smallest queen I've ever seen.
Went to get a shower and the conditioner was empty

Shocked by the room! The faucet almost fell off the wall when my husband turned on shower! There was no lid on the ice bucket. The a/c was missing grates. It was not as clean as most Hampton Inns are. And on top of all that, my husband was stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes the morning we were leaving! We were told the maintenance guy was on his way. He’d be there in about 20 minutes!!!! Are you kidding me. The staff was nice, but couldn’t offer any compensation because I reserved the room through Priceline instead of letting my husband do it through his Hilton Honors account! We usually stay at Hampton Inn, but this was not at all like most Hampton Inns standards!

Not great but certainly not awful. Rooms where a little dated but clean. Kind of infested with Ladybugs but everyone loves Ladybugs so it wasn't an issue to me. Carpentry work was a little rough. Hvac system worked properly and wasn't on one of those dumb thermostats with a motion censor. Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Price was a little high for it's condition, but It was a needed hot shower and a comfortable bed for a one night road stay. Wouldn't set out for this hotel again but wouldn't be upset if I needed to stay again for a rest from the road.

Traveling for business. My wife and I stayed here thinking it would be clean and comfortable like most of the Hampton Inn’s we stay at when traveling across country. Wrong. This place needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. It doesn’t look like anyone has cleaned in months. The rooms are dirty, moldy in the bathroom, and the pillows are old and nasty. There was “slime” or something gross on the dresser where the tv was and the chair was so stained that we had to sit on a towel. I had to clean the shower myself before my wife and I could use it and we didn’t want to sleep fearing the beds were dirty. The AC was filthy and there are missing light bulbs in the lights so it’s dark in the room. I’m sorry but if you are a Hilton, then clean up your hotel and act like one. The Hilton family should be embarrassed to have this hotel named after them. Place smells like a cigarette too. 2 stars is a good rating. ?

Rooms: Rooms need maintenance and overhaul and are showing their age and lack of attention especially in the bathrooms.
Nearby activities: Easy on/off I-95 and US 58
Food & drinks: Not as much effort put into the breakfast service as there used to be. It's ok, a (B-)
Noteworthy details: Public areas still nice but hotel showing its age and rooms need a tune-up.

Room looked cleaner than most of the guests stay there. Great service from the staff, but very shady characters lurking around in the parking lot.

They are severely understaffed. When we arrived at the hotel around 6:30pm, there was no one at the front desk. We waited 20 minutes before someone came back to check us in. There was a line of 4 other people behind us waiting to check in. The front desk person was the only person working onsite, and was away from the front desk fixing someone’s TV. Apparently there is no maintenance person on staff so the front desk person is responsible for taking care of anything that needs to be fixed as well. This is a management issue. For the amount of money this hotel charges, they should be able to afford to have a second person working each shift. It’s not fair to the solo person working and makes for a very poor customer experience.

Wish I would have read the reviews before I stayed. Place is disgusting!!! See my picture of the window sill and the AC unit. Got there late. Computer system was down. Most people couldn’t stay because of this. I was able to request a room on the app which allowed me to stay. Which was unfortunate for me. The Tv didn’t work. They said to switch inputs. That didn’t work so I had no TV. Was late anyway. This is really not a Hampton Inn. It’s a Super 8 contractors hotel. It won’t let me post with pictures. Anyway the ac filters have never been changed. So dirty the discharge vent was gross. DONT STAY HERE !
Rooms: Nasty dirty

Absolutely awful experience with the staff. I arrived a bit after 11:00PM and had been travelling for quite some time. The lady at the Front Desk told me that she had no reservation under my name (a reservation that I had already paid for) and then proceeded to tell me that they were completely booked out. She didn't make any attempt to walk me to another hotel or even offer a suggestion as to where I could stay! I called Expedia, Expedia called the property, Expedia called me back after I was 40 minutes well on my way to inform me that they suddenly had a room for me and to turn around, absolutely not after the way I was treated! I ended up sleeping as a single female alone in a rest stop area. I was terrified AND out of $200.00. i never was refunded the monies.

Not a good property for Hilton. I wouldn’t stay here again.
