Sarge doesn’t just give you a great workout, it gives you access to a great community! I love that every class provides a unique and challenging combination of strength training and cardio exercises. But I love the people I’ve met there even more. We challenge each other to athletic achievements both inside and outside class, from hiking to tough mudders to relay races. Friends who sweat together stay together. Come join our fitness family!

If you’re looking for a fitness routine that is flexible but holds you accountable to yourself, Sarge is that place. I can workout in-person, virtually (if I’m traveling), or watch the video from that day when it’s more convenient. The studio is locally-owned and operated by the owner, Tom, which makes this a community for folks who want to stay/get fit but aren’t motivated by gym equipment. Tom is there teaching class EVERY morning at 6am, making the routines dynamic and interesting, creating fun games to change it up, and understanding everyone’s individual needs. I’ve been coming here for years and I don’t see that changing!

I started doing bootcamp with Tom in 2006, but I moved away from the area in 2014 and was never able to find a workout I loved as much. Low and behold, Covid struck, and Tom had virtual bootcamp up and running immediately....I was thrilled!!!!! I have been doing bootcamp virtually since then. I love that the workouts change from day to day and week to week and they aren't predictable. The exercises are creative and include strength, cardio, and agility. Tom pushes me and doesn't let me cheat which I desperately need. I am a huge fan!!!!

Finally, the workouts we’ve been looking for! We join the classes virtually and coach Tom makes sure we have the proper form and holds us accountable for every rep. We still have a ways to go but we’re getting stronger every week! The workouts are never the same and can be done whether you’re in the best shape of your life or are just getting back on track with your fitness journey.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sarge Fitness - the workouts, the instructors, the people, all fantastic!! I've been attending classes with Sarge for over ten years, and it's amazing how truly adaptable it is. I've been able to get a great workout regardless of what's going on at a particular stage in life (pregnancies, injuries, a pandemic, etc). Tom will work with every person to meet their specific needs within each workout and since you never know what's on the agenda for the day, you can't mentally psych yourself out before it starts! I've attended both in person and now virtually because it works with my kid's schedule for now. I know I'll be back in person at some point, and I loving knowing that I'll have the ability to make that change without trying to find a new program and starting over. It's the best start to my day and I've never regretted signing up (even on leg days).

I first signed up for Sarge Boot Camp because you can't beat the price for everything you get - unlimited classes 6 days a week and a virtual option to workout from anywhere and still have Tom make sure I'm doing things correctly and to my best ability. As a bonus, I found an incredible community who have fun while working out, meet up for hikes, encourage outdoor activities, join challenges like Tough Mudder and Ragnars together, and have donation drives to help support the community.I'm so happy I found these people and it's great seeing new friends who want in on the adventure!

I was so bored with the regular gym and was having a hard time figuring out what to do while I was there. I made the switch to Sarge Fitness in 2017. It's been so great! I never have to worry about planning my own exercises. I show up and get an awesome workout. Since Covid, I have been doing the classes via Zoom and recordings. I am so grateful he has this option as I am not always able to attend the regularly scheduled classes. Don't wait, sign up! You won't regret it!

Incredible workouts! People are awesome! I find it useful to go at least 3 times a week, and most of the weeks I am in town, I go 4-5 times, since we work on different muscles and rotate in and out of cardio. You feel so much better when you consistently attend classes.

I found out about Bootcamp through my coworker who challenged me to attend a single class with him. I never thought I’d love it so much that I would attend all summer! I quickly realized I loved the community aspect of it, the studio, and Tom himself. I was very afraid coming into my first class because gyms and group fitness had always been very intimidating to me, but over the span of 3 months I’ve not only gained strength but confidence in my abilities. I really recommend this to everyone.

Tom is amazing! His humor makes every workout session worth it. When he isn't teaching the other instructors are also great. I have tried many other gyms and fitness classes but this one is definitely different. From the family oriented atmosphere to the level of expertise and motivation to be the best fit you will be I will continue coming back. Don't hesitate to give this a try. You won't regret it!

I started exactly one month ago, the classes are intense ( I am in bad shape so), I love that they give you modifications based on your level and correct you if you don't do it right.I feel so much better after only one month. The trainers are great, motivating and keep you going. The group is so supportive and no judgement, just show up do your best, repeat. They also offer zoom classes which is super helpful when I have to be home with kids.

I truly enjoy the workouts at Sergeant's Fitness Concepts. You get results you can see when you stick with it. It's a non-judgmental group that encompasses every age and fitness level. The group is like a family, they are supportive, but will challenge you to do better and push your limits. Tom is a great instructor who can help you achieve your goals without being mean or pushy. He's serious and fun all at the same time. He does a great job teaching the classes, which are always different and challenging. Sergeant's Fitness Concepts is also a great price for the value of fitness you get. It's worth a try for anyone, you won't be disappointed.

I started with Sarge Boot Camp over 2 years ago as a way to improve for my high school cross country team. Tom was super accommodating and I felt results within the first week. The program switches up what type of workout you'll do every day, so your body never knows what to expect and you can improve faster! As I progressed, the people that worked along with me have become friends. These are some of the nicest, most supportive people you can have at a boot camp program. It's a great way to improve my health while having fun. Thanks Tom!

I have been working out and exercising for many years. I lost my way and fell in to a boring, non-productive routine. When I found out that Tom was running this boot camp in Sterling, I wanted to check it out but I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up. After 3 months I couldn't be happier. Tom gives great instruction and he explains why we are doing certain movements and explains how they will help us. I really appreciate the knowledge because I am always trying to better myself. You WILL hit every body part multiple times per week in fast moving, creative, one hour workouts and he will tell you how to modify if needed. With several previous injuries, I was pleasantly surprised that I could do these workouts without compromising my knee and shoulders. My strength, endurance, and cardio have all improved but more importantly I found my biggest health and wellness advocate. If you are looking for functional fitness with a funny, patient instructor give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
