Worst experience ever in having taxes done! This place has done my parents taxes for 20- 30 years. So I took the info for their 2023 taxes (both are now deceased) on Feb 28. I should have known this was going to be bad when I showed up for my appt that day and Ms. Whirley said she did not have me down for an appt on her calendar. I informed her that I had spoken to her via phone several weeks prior and she had given me this day and time to come in. She said she could give me 5 minutes. I had all of my parents tax info with me, along with the Will appointing me as Executor. I also included a cover sheet with info on each income item. She said she would look it over and let me know if she had any questions or when it was done.
I started following up with her 1 month later and was told "I am working on it". Then again 2 weeks prior to tax deadline and was told the same thing and she would call me when done. Then I went by the office last Tuesday and she told me that she holds all Estate taxes until the end of her work and that she would do it either that night or Wed night and she would call me on Thurs or Fri. Well those days went by and I am here today (tax deadlune day) and guess what
..I was told "to have a seat in the waiting area and she would get to me". The waiting room was co.pletely full with nowhere to sit. I have been here for 90 minutes so far and will be here until they are done! I can only hope they can be done electronically regardless of refund or tax due as I am sure the Post Office will be closed way before I get out of here.
Stay away from this place !!!

Mrs. Whirley has been doing my taxes for at least the last 20 years. She is pleasant, easy going and and genuine pleasure with whom to speak. A1 service all the way!
