We were at he park that has Maui Jack's Waterpark at their entrance And staff inside are main entrance of the waterpark are rude and don't know how to measure children's height my granddaughters head was at the top of there surfboard measuring and when the lady's pulled out a measuring square they were pulling back on the stick not level or straight up making it a lot higher then it was the had her crying and very upset and 1 week after we had her to the doctors for a physical and they said she was exactly 48 inches. Now the life guards spend more time talking and worrying about tube stacking then they do the visitors they non stop take the extra tubes out and away from the steps to enter the lazy river and then you have to walk back and forth to the entrance of the pool area to get a tube. 2 days out of the 5 days we went there they did a so call safety inspection ever hour in the center of the park at the kids play area for 10 mins made the kids get out and there was no inspection they just stood around and talked on Saturday they were packed and did no inspections. They also have about 20 life guard there and only one set of slides open at a time and a few of the days no slide open

This water park is very nice and spacious. Designed for the whole family and for all ages.
There are games for babies to adults. What we liked the most were the inflatables to float around the area with the current. For $15 you can rent a space with shade and chairs.
There is food for sale such as pizza, hamburgers, salads, drinks, hotdogs, etc. I recommend it 100%
A little trick: if you want to have a discount you can stay at the Confort Inn Suites 7 minutes by car and they will offer you tickets for $20 each. They are normally $27 per adult and $22 per child. There were 5 of us and we saved about $25
They open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM and they give you a band with which you can come and go as many times as you want during a day.

We’ve been coming to Maui jack’s since it opened. Always had tons of fun and the whole family had a great time. 2024 saw many changes, all for the worse.
1. The cabanas, which used to be well worth the money, have fewer chairs and do not have the combination cooler/safe that used to be provided along with complimentary water.
2. A QR code is given for the food menu. Upon scanning, you are directed to a page that says “the QR code campaign has been disabled for some reason.” They can’t even be bothered to keep the QR code active.
3. Slides are closed and you are notified while waiting on line to enter with a signed taped to the front door “speed slide is closed <3” as if the heart negates the fact that the best slide isn’t open. No discount is offered for what seems to be poor schedule management. We were finally able to obtain an answer as to why the slide was closed: they’re short staffed.
In addition to the changes in the park, the staff are not helpful. My uncle recently had surgery on his leg and is walking with the aid of a walker. He is unable to stand and wait on line while the one staff member at the front desk tackles the 100 person deep entrance line. We asked if he could enter and go to the cabana where other members of my family were already sitting, having entered the park earlier in the day. He was not allowed to enter and go sit with the rest of our party, even while I waited online and bought his ticket. He is physically unable to stand for the 30+ minutes it takes to get to the front of the line.
Overall, this used to be a great experience yet recent changes make you feel like you’re paying the same price for fewer amenities. And the staff have no empathy or common sense.

Enjoyed the water park as a part of staying at Jellystone. Clean, fun and a great way to cool off before going to the beach!
The only negative I have is I got injured coming down the slide and hurt my leg. I verbalized to the lifeguard several times over I needed help out and the life guard didn't acknowledge me. I had to physically pull myself out of the pool at the bottom of the slide to get out.
I eventually had to go to the emergency room because I couldn't handle the pain and my inability to bare weight on my leg

Hundreds of Seagulls wade/poop every day at the entrance of the kiddie pool area and they spray the poop off into the kiddie pool before the park opens. I felt sick with a sore throat the next day after leaving the park.
Just arrived for our vacation today. The two speed slides are shut down the only thing for adults and kids that are older to do is the three sides and the lazy river. Staff did not let my son or another boy go down the slide when they got to the top because they were closing, but there was still four minutes left until close. They could’ve just let them go down the slide. The park will be closed the next two days because their staff has graduation for highschool school on June 11 and 12th. They want you to wear their thick plastic, sharp metallic bracelets your entire camping stay. There seagulls everywhere, There’s also poop everywhere from the seagulls. Seagulls beg for your food. The seagulls use the pool as their personal pool. I would not recommend this or recommend it by reason to stay at the campground.

I’m just thankful I’m local to be able to go home, I feel for the families that traveled and paid for you to not hold up to your end of the deal. You shut down lazy river and then the kids section gets evacuated…. Leaving what? Slides. You are a water park, offering nothing on top of a disgruntled old man who says “I don’t care” when I fully disclose the TWO juice boxes and tell him my son is autistic and picky. As I’m leaving I try and explain my upset and I get a “yep sorry”Shame on you, do better.

Despite my name I do enjoy cleanliness when it comes to entertainment.....I understand the birds are a problem and there aren't many options on keeping them away but they can't just have three employees with pool skimmer nets to clean out all the feathers and debris from the lazy river before the park opens? I am staying at the campground directly next to the park so we have wrist bands for re-entry so our first day we came late I just assumed the debris and feathers were a results of a long day ....but we were the first back in the park the following day and it had not improved. Maybe it's not always like this the watering holes for animals nearby are low and gross so they're using the park as an alternative watering hole, there must be some lack of rain in this region recently im from outta state so I don't know for sure. Other than that it's nice could use a dedicated pool and just a personal opinion the water was too warm......lastly those gulls don't just poop and pollute the water they are brazen food thieves like as in I'm sitting eating my food and a gull swooped under the cabana and stole some fries ?

We visited this park while visiting Chincoteague and loved the day we spent here. Ample parking and fun for all ages. They offer a military discount on tickets too.
After paying and getting our wristbands, we rented a day locker. They have a shop, a bar with adult drinks, and a restaurant with great options.
The park itself has a super fun lazy river, a few slides, and a few kiddie areas for smaller children. Lots of lounge chairs and a few options with shade. I'd get there when they open for shade spots, as they are minimal. Later in the day someone left their cabana early and we ended up renting it for the rest of the day. Highly recommend this.

If I could give zero stars, I would also. When the group I was with arrived, we couldn't believe what we saw - I thought this can't be it, for $30.99, it is so not worth it. I could have gone to my community pool, which would have been much cleaner, comfortable, and at a cost of $6, that would have offered a lazy river, 2 slides and an olympic size swimming pool, with diving board, a kiddie pool and wading pools for kids, along with other fun water pools that are interactive. I booked a cabana and because their website doesn't have your options to purchase all on one page, when I booked it was mid-day on Thursday, 8/17 - purchased tickets for 5 people. Mind you, never receiving confirmation of my purchase - which I think was intentional, because their system had me purchasing a cabana for the day that I booked the cabana and the 5 tickets which was for Sunday (8/20). Had I received confirmation I would have been able to call them right away to let them know that the reservation date was wrong for the cabana, so when we arrived, they told me that they were sold out of cabanas, and that my reservation was for 8/17, not 8/20. Even though we paid in advance, we too had to wait in a a very long line. The cleanliness of the property was very disappointing: It is very clear that they do not hose down the property; while walking, I had pieces of concrete poking into my feet, bird poop and feathers were all over the place on the concrete, and while trying to decide where to situate our stuff, there were at least 5 lounge chairs that were completely covered in bird poop. My family and I left after being so disgusted.A friend told me about this place, I called him and told him "not a good idea to recommend this place to anyone". Then yesterday, this same friend told me that another friend of his and his family came to Maui on Monday and couldn't believe the condition of the place and they too left and headed to Ocean City, just as we did on Sunday. We drove 3 1/2 hours to get there, but for the price, this place is so not worth any of the headaches experienced there ...... they got (STOLE) $261 dollars from me this time, but it will NEVER happen again!

We have been a few times and it is a nice way to mix in a day for the kids! The food is overpriced as expected but we really enjoy it. The 20% gratuity makes it feel like the cabanas are a real splurge, and the service doesn’t really add up but the space and shade make them make sense. I think the only other “FYI” for parents is there is no “kiddy pool” you are either at the playground pool or the entrance to the lazy river! No big deal but was a surprise to us the first time we went!We usually rent a cabana ahead of time since it makes long days with young kids much easier. We just went for closing day and they have MERMAID MONDAY which just made our kids whole summer. The mermaids were incredibly friendly and took time to interact with SO MANY kids and take pictures etc.We are hoping we see the mermaids again next year!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Maui Jacks waterpark in Chincoteague, Virginia, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. While the park may be small in size, it is perfect for families looking for a fun day out.One of the highlights of Maui Jacks is the lazy river. It was incredibly enjoyable to float along the gentle current, soaking up the sun and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. The lazy river is a great way to unwind and spend quality time with loved ones.Although the park may not have a wide variety of slides, the ones they do have are a lot of fun. The slides provided a thrilling experience for both kids and adults alike. It's a safe and enjoyable space for kids to have fun and make lasting memories. When it comes to food, Maui Jacks offers what you would expect at a waterpark. While the options may not be gourmet, they are convenient and satisfying. It's a great way to refuel and keep the energy levels up during your visit.Cleanliness is a top priority at Maui Jacks, and it shows. The park is very clean, and the staff works diligently to ensure a tidy and hygienic environment for all visitors. It's refreshing to see such attention to cleanliness in a waterpark setting. The staff at Maui Jacks are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a positive experience. Their cheerful demeanor and willingness to assist add to the overall enjoyment of the park.Lastly, I must mention that Maui Jacks honors a veterans discount. This is a wonderful gesture of appreciation for those who have served our country. It's heartwarming to see a waterpark recognizing and honoring our veterans. In conclusion, Maui Jacks waterpark in Chincoteague, Virginia, may be small in size, but it is perfect for families looking for a fun day out.
