We had bought a fishing rod online and no idea if we had set it up right. We don't really fish, but my son wanted to try while on vacation. Not only did they take a look at the fishing rod, they made sure we had everything we needed to fish locally.

Nice employees but prices are extremely high. You would be better to prepare before arriving this was the only bait shop for miles. When looking at pliers and bait knives they all seem to start at 29.99, every rod no matter brand that I seen was $189+ . They carry alot and have a mix of good brands but I also have a tackle shop and I know the difference between cost , profit and just a flat out monopoly on the island. 1 set of pliers and 2 scoops of minnows was $60 I went to dollar general for a knife. A small box of squid was $16.99 so I mostly caught my own bait while there.

Always so friendly and helpful. Went in there on our honeymoon to buy mermaid themed decor and ended up leaving and catching a huge flounder thanks to the 3 gentlemen working! We go there for our bait on summer vacation and they are just absolutely amazing nice and just go out of their way!!
