“This review is long overdue. I, like many others, was stuck / forced to utilize “Big Store / Corporate” Pharmacies. Then, thank goodness that Chesapeake was blessed with an independent pharmacy. I had planned on changing to the pharmacy, but before I could, I needed a “compound medication” that was prescribed by my doctor. I was having difficulty finding a pharmacy that filled compound prescriptions. After making several calls to different pharmacies and having no luck, I then remembered about Battlefield Pharmacy. I told them what I was prescribed. I first spoke to Mike, who was so kind and helpful. So there was no better time than the present to have my prescriptions transferred at that time. So the friendly, and helpful staff worked to get my prescriptions transferred over and it was done with accuracy and in a very timely manner. I’ve never had any challenges or difficulties since I made the change to this pharmacy last year when they opened. All of the staff have always been kind, friendly, professional, and are so patient when I have questions. When I’ve been looking for something “over the counter,” if it was not available in the store, they’ve always offered to order it for me and it’s available the next day. I’ve never received better treatment than I have here. Tuesday evening, 1/23/24, I stopped in, near closing time to pick up my prescriptions. I needed some over the counter products. The assistant, Zamirah, was helpful in looking on the shelves with me and once again, offered to order what I was looking for with delivery the next door. I am very thankful for Battlefield Pharmacy and all of the dedicated, hardworking, kind, and caring staff.”

“Chesapeake Rx is an extension of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare system. It's a pharmacy with basic healthcare items that also administers vaccines, located at the end of the shopping strip with the Food Lion. We normally get vaccinated on military installations, just to keep all our records in one place since we move around. However, the military doesn't seem to have a consistent inventory of the particular vaccination we are looking for, so I found the Chesapeake Rx location on the vaccines.gov. They were the only ones in our area that had the particular vaccine AND who would also administer it to children under 12 (pharmacies like Walgreens will not administer it to children under 12, so look out for that when booking appointments FYI). I scheduled an appointment in advance and the staff member was kind and answered all of my questions.The morning of, which was yesterday, however, one of their nurses called me about an hour before the appointment and notified me that the order they had placed did not come in. The supplier had shipped them a different vaccine for children. We were already on our way, so my husband and I got ours. The nurse was the same one who had called and she was super nice and very apologetic. She was very gentle in administering the vaccine as well, as I HATE needles.The process is pretty quick. You have a one page form to fill out (only top portion, then sign at the bottom) and they will submit it to the Department of Health. She was also kind enough to fax over the vaccine record to my military home clinic. She gave me the carbon copy though so I could have it and also filled out my vaccination card. Notes:- they only schedule appointments for vaccinations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. They go up until 5:30 so you can bring them after school if time is an issue. The pharmacy is very clean and quiet. The inventory for retail items are very sparse, but probably best suited for impulse purchases while picking up your prescription. They have the small private room in the corner to administer the vaccination.She said that she would give me a call as soon as the right vaccine comes in for the kids, so looking forward to going back and getting it done!Stay safe, Friends!”

My insurance makes me go through a mail order pharmacy and they say they will send my medicine, but they don't, repeatedly. While waiting for help within 15 mins of standing still, I had 3 other REALLY nice produce guys ask if I need help & also checked on my order for me. “So this is my first time in this Walmart since the mass shooting occurred back in November 22, 2022. It was reopened following a ceremony to thank the community for their support, and to honor the victims and survivors. I did not take any pictures. I will say, it was completely redone the best way it could. There are a lot more self checkouts. They seemed to have a better and greater selection of clothes for the whole family. Their food section was great to be honest. They had a good amount of organics. However, they were out of some fresh herbs that I needed. I was in the makeup section and needed some items in the glass case. I alerted an employer and within minutes had someone there to open it for me. Checkout was pretty easy to operate. I had a question and an employee was nice enough to help. If I had to come back here again I probably wouldn't hesitate if in the area. I still prefer my neighborhood "Grassfield Walmart" above all.”

“Always a good clean store! Quite but busy. Also always pretty well stocked! Mostly wanted to get on here to talk about the amazing sales they had on toys today!! 2-11-22. I stopped in just to look while my littles were in school and I was sucked into all the amazing deals on the toys! I did see a sign that said they have a lot of left over Christmas toys. I found some as low as $3.49 and some for $6 such great deals. A lot of the sales were for little kids. They also already had a few valentines items marked down. Mostly candles. I did find two supper cute baby yoda cups but one get one 40% off! If you stop in you might find some great deals!”
