“I have wanted to try bungee fitness ever since it popped up and never lived in a place where it is available. I looked it up as soon as I moved here to VA and found HopeFit VA just 10 minutes up the road. Meant. To. Be. The husband and wife owners Quinton and Sary are such motivating and kind people. They have a variety of classes, aside from Bungee, and a friendly & inspiring group of students who all make you feel welcome. But that bungee class though???! THE BEST! It was the most perfect class to bring me back to exercise after my pregnancy. The bungee works with you to allow you to do moves you might struggle to do otherwise. Burpees for example. On my own? No thanks. In the bungee? Heck yes! But don’t get it mixed up… this class will challenge you in all the right ways! You will sweat, get winded, and have some solid laughs. Highly recommend and so happy I found HopeFitVA.PS: They also have TRX and I’m gonna tell you I was sore for a few days after taking that gem (good sore, of course).”

“From our initial visit, Mr. Winfrey was professional and realistic. We talked about my goals and both our expectations to achieve desired results. I’ve ever been made to feel uncomfortable in the gym with Mr. Winfrey, even when it was just the two of us. He takes the time to show you the workout, he make sure you’re doing it correctly, and it’s challenging. The gym it self is comfortable and intimate. I really feel Mr. Winfrey knows what he’s doing when it comes to training! I sometimes hate to get up and go, but when I leave I feel my best! Even down to the other members that pop in for their workout, they are friendly! Oh and one last thing, on your non training days, Mr. Winfrey encourages you to still come to the gym to do cardio! He definitely holds you accountable!!!!”

“All I can say is WOW!! I went there for a group event and we had so much fun. We also had a chance to do some exercises with boxing sets. Even though I'm disabled, I was not gonna let this stop me from at least trying it out.??The coach who worked with me was amazing and I was able to sit down and punch the sparing padded gloves he had on. I was able to box for about 15/20 mins before I had to stop. It was so HARD!! Lol!! But I'm so glad I got to try! It's definitely a great workout and a great way to let some frustrations out too! Lol!Not sure if I'm going to join (YET) because of some limitations I have, but this is definitely something I want to work up too doing for sure! The boxing coaches are so nice too! They showed us the correct stance. Lots of fun and plenty of exercise! If you want a place to exercise but with boxing, THIS is the place to go! Here is a picture of some of our group using the punching bag.”

I've been to dozens of CrossFit gyms across the US and overseas but none made me feel like home more than Compound CrossFit.I was in town for a few weeks for worked and needed a gym to go to.The first time I walked in the door I felt like family. Sara and Mike took time to talk to me about the gym and even got me in on the workout right then and there.Fantastic programing, attentive coaches, friendly members, and a well equipped facility.I couldn't ask for more.”

“Great locally owned gym. No nonsense, get in and lift weights kinda place. Members are friendly and respectful. All machines are maintained. Bathrooms have showers and are kept clean. Monthly rates. Open 430am to 930pm during the week. (I hit it on the way home from work. ) Saturday 8 to 5, Sunday 11 to 5.”

“Without a doubt it's the best Gym I've joined so far. Immaculate cleanliness, absolutely outstanding staff, convenient hours (24/7), the equipment is expertly maintained. It is at least two steps above the others I've attended. From the very first day when I toured the facility, I realized the other Gyms could not compare to this one. I would highly recommend this Gym to everyone who's looking for a class experience.”

“I’m a really picky person about the cleanliness or the lack of in any facility that I go in.The Greenbrier PF gets a 5 star in the area of cleanliness in my book and in the area of having wiping stations stocked. Not their fault that there are still people that refuse to white down the machines when they are finished.There are also plenty of cardio machines always available. And last but not least, is that the staff are very friendly and welcoming.”

“I had completely lost my keys after working out on the stair master and thought I was losing my mind. Malia and Orlando went above and beyond to help. Orlando had a keen eye and actually spotted them inside the machine. Somehow they had managed to wedge inside the stairs. What a hassle that would've been. I am thankful for their wonderful help and getting me home! Also this gym has great music when I forget my headphones.”

“Great family atmosphere. Staff is friendly and always helpful. My favorite thing here is the sauna. The Princess Anne and Granby locations don’t have a sauna so I try to go to this one so I can get the extra sweat when I get off of work late. Sometimes the cleaning crew tries to kick you out before they close at 9pm which would be my only complaint. Other than that, awesome place to workout.”

“If you’re looking to help build your child’s confidence and coordination – then swimming lessons at the YMCA (Great Bridge/Hickory) is highly recommended! In just a couple of months we have seen growth and progress in our 5 year old swimmer, who is non-verbal and a twin. He has learned to reach, “blow bubbles”, turn on his back, built up strength to climb out of the pool (which is a very important for pool safety) just to name a few positive experiences. All the instructors are great, especially Ms. Lori! She is patient, fun, knowledgeable, and communicates with ease. We are lucky to have found such a great organization.”

“Great gym! The staff does a great job of keeping everything and located where it should be. The space is large so even when it's full there room do you. I joined a few weeks ago and took advantage of the new member personal training special. I did 6 sessions with Chris Harris and he is a great resource. He helped me dial in my training efficiency and opened my mind to several different movements. Highly recommended!!”

“Your Time Fitness is the perfect gym for anyone who loves a good and clean space to workout. Everyone at Your Time is so respectful & kind. I love how personal the gym is, and it never is crowded at any time during the day. I can workout at 8 am or 10 pm, and it is always clean and comfortable. I have been going for about a year and a half now, and plan to keep my membership for a longgg time. Highly recommend Your Time for anyone looking to get to the gym!”

“Had the BEST Zumba experience and class with teacher Simonette. Very upbeat, engaging, and easy to follow instruction style! They need to put her on the schedule for more classes. The reason I rate it 4 stars is bc they NEED to offer Zumba at later times for people who work after 5 and I wish simonette taught at these times.”
