I came to CLP Financial a little over a year before I retired, with no idea what I was doing, or even how to plan for my future. Joshua took me by the hand and advised a plan for my insurance, long term care, as well as my annuities. He always asks if I have any questions and if I am satisfied with my progress.We have met several times, and he has adjusted my plan to fit my financial situation. I have since retired, and am completely satisfied with the path I am taking as far as my future is concerned. I have been treated with total respect and professionalism by everyone in the company from the receptionist, the tax preparer, Ms Lisa, Mr Parson, and Joshua himself. I am so happy to have associated myself with this company, and trust them completely with my finances.

I have been a customer of CLP for 4 years since I retired. I have received outstanding professional, quality customer service from Mr. Parsons, Joshua and Lisa. They have always treated me with respect, courtesy, and professionalism. I simply cannot imagine the staff being rude and unprofessional to any of their customers. This is the Financial Group you want to use to handle your financial affairs. In addition, they are a Certified Fiduciary. Not many financial planners are.

We have been with CLP for several years. The entire staff demonstrates professionalism at its best. We recently worked with Joshua on some short-term and long-term financial strategies to improve our tax posture in the long run. We found him to be trust-worthy, transparent, and very knowledgeable. Do not do business with this company! All black women! Listen, the president is an a** of a black man who thinks his sh-- don't stink. He is very arrogant to say it mildly. I attended an dinner presentation this year, my mother had attended one and than recommended me. I have been in the financial industry for over 10 years and invited a friend to join me. I was not only looking to recommend a quality company for my clients that I do not write certain policies on but I was also listening to recommend family. The president Parson did the presentation, just on his prejudgment without having spoken a word to me he proceeds to inform the audience that he will be offending someone in the group. He than proceeds to stare at me (being a black young woman) and advise not to have men laying up in the home if you want have money. Wow, how professional and judgmental. Let it be know that he bragged about his daughter's accomplishment who is also a black women. For the record, this black women is 50 but happens to look 30's so he misspoke thinking I was some young, broke struggling female. No sir, you lost big business from a disabled veteran who has been in the business for over 10 years, home owner, college graduate, high income earner, no children, no disrespectful men, healthy, and plenty of insurance for my younger generation to enjoy who are not even my children. He needs to watch his mouth Mr. big shot who made it out of the hood into some money but still a stink, arrogant attitude. Oh and as you like to say, "I'm sure I will offend someone today,"

CLP Financial Group is truly deserving of 5-Stars!! My experience with them has ALWAYS been very professional and the staff is more than qualified. The President, Mr. Leonard Parson even makes a point to greet me each time I come in for service, regardless of his busy schedule. When you have your taxes prepared, you can feel confident knowing that Jane Zdunek & John Tronolone are both Certified Public Accounts. I trust them completely. Josh Anderson has matured in the business during his tenure with CLP Financial Group and appears to be Mr. Parson's right-hand man. Lisa Chenet, however; is a Power House at CLP. She has a special skill of making you feel welcomed while sharing her expertise & advice. I encourage anyone reading this post, to consider them for your financial planning.

I agree with Jessica. CLP has definitely discarded their loyal clients as trash. I received a letter in the mail (Jan 30th) along with other people I know stating they will no longer be preparing taxes for client who don't buy their insurance or other services. Tax preparation will only be for new clients who they can market their financial services to or clients who already have already purchased those services. From my understanding they have discarded hundreds of clients like myself without warning and on short notice (during tax season).

So, after having paid this company for the last few years to file taxes on behalf of my family I received a letter letting me know that they would no longer be doing my taxes. Why? Not because my husband and I did anything wrong but rather, their tax preparation service is now only exclusively for their financial and insurance clients. Huh? So when you were building up your business my money was good enough for you but now that you have reached some benchmark my money is no longer good? The biggest insult to injury for me is that with my last few years of business, instead of picking up the phone to call, or better yet, schedule and appointment to sit down with me to discuss what my options may be, you put a letter in the mail and couldnt even refer to me by name, just Tax Client. How professional of you! I originally came here because my Bishop, Kim Brown, spoke so highly of you all. Mr. Leonard Parson, President of CLP Financial Group Inc., you never even gave me or my husband the opportunity to potentially hire you all for additional financial services before discarding us as trash.

Very disappointed with the level of customer service from the office staff. Taxes were done with an agreement they would submit an extension. Extension was documented in my paperwork but never filed resulting a penalty fee. When I contacted Lisa and Heidi I was promised a return call each time. Never returned my calls and finally after a week Lisa says they are not responsible. Poor service. I do not recommend.
