“I did a long-distance move with Milo The Mover from Charlottesville, VA to Columbus, OH (6-7 hour drive) and it was executed perfectly. To get a quote from them all I had to do was provide some basic information on my residence (i.e. how many bedrooms, what floor its on) and what furniture/items I have. Tyler, the person who I mainly spoke with and who did the actual move (with a teammate) is very personable and good at communicating the logistics of the move. We liked that they only required a deposit of $200 for our move, and also liked that they took payment through Venmo, Check and other providers. They have insurance on your items and write up a contract for you and them to sign so both parties are safe if something goes wrong. Milo the mover is a small, local family-owned business which is another plus, when looking around for estimates we had an international company try asking me for my banking account information in order to pay them the deposit, which seemed very off-putting. Tyler and his team wrapped all of my items and moved them with care. I have an expensive 65 inch TV that I was worried about, however Tyler was able to bring a box for that and wrap that as well, I’m glad to say that none of my items were damaged or missing. Tyler’s teammate who loaded my items in Charlottesville had a family emergency and could not stay for the drive and move to Columbus, you would think this is a big problem, however Tyler was able to have someone from a sister company in Columbus meet us at the destination to complete the move. My mother who has had issues with moving companies in the past was also present for this whole move and was also impressed, and happy with Milo The Mover’s services. Overall the move was completed the same day and there were no damage to my items. I would highly recommend choosing Milo The Mover to help you with your move.”

“On Time Movers (owner is Roy) just assisted me in my move when I sold my house. They were very courteous and prompt. I met with the owner, Roy, prior to moving day. He quoted me an hourly price which included three men and a truck. Upon arrival Roy came with two men. I was a little disappointed as I felt that "three men" did not include himself. Roy did however do just as much moving and work as the other two men. If there had been Roy and a three-man crew it would have been A lot more efficient, faster, and worth the hourly cost. When I spoke to Roy about this he adjusted the cost. I felt it was very fair of him. Next time I will know to get specific details and not assume anything! On time Movers completed my move without breaking one single thing!!! Considering I moved to an apartment on the third floor and had some very heavy items these guys worked really hard! I am really grateful that they were able to get everything from point A to point B The heartbreaking and without scuffing, denting, and marking up the walls!”
