Don't bother with the deli. Lady wouldn't even acknowledge us until I pretty much hollered excuse me, and then I received attitude immediately for asking if someone could help me. I was told i have to wait 10 minutes for her to finish whatever she was boxing up first. I'm guessing she was hoping we'd walk away so she didn't have to work.

Horrible experience , full cart of groceries and the store had no staff for check out lines. Had to go through self- checkout. I should have taken the hint about the staffing when I noticed the parking lot not having a lot of cars and there were many grocery carts in the return cart area. Deli meats looked bad as well. Heading to Richmond next time. Very disappointed in this store.

I wish I could give 0 stars to the place they call a pharmacy. I go to pick up my prescription, a blonde heavyset lady is standing behind the counter, she was fully aware that i was standing there because I saw her side eye me and was just on her phone texting and ignoring me. She comes up to the computer doesn’t even look at me and says “date of birth”, I gave it to her then she asked my name and I told her. She then says “um what prescription is this for because you have nothing” I tell her the prescription and she says “ummm yeah your insurance isn’t going to cover this you need a prior authorization” I said the prior authorization was done today and approved, she then says “well WE don’t have any documentation from your insurance AND it’s out of stock anyways” with the nastiest face possible, I said okay thank you and left, clearly this woman has an issue doing the job she is paid to do. I just can’t believe the lack of customer service, I work in healthcare and I can’t imagine speaking to a patient this way, you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s disgusting and rude. Needless to say I had my prescription transferred to barracks road Kroger to which they replied “yes ma’am we will have that ready for you in 20 minutes and will give you a call if any issues.” Take notes hydraulic road Kroger. Sickening.

Beware of their security guard in front as she will stop you over gift cards you just paid for and publicity embarrass you checking if you paid for them. Utterly ridiculous! Zero stars

I LEFT MY WOULD BE PURCHASES THERE. There was only one check-out with a long line. There were self checkouts which I don't like . They were all occupied.

IT WAS OK! I USUALLY GO IN TO GET DR . PEPPER ON SALE IN CANS AND BOTTLE'S.YOU ONLY HAD THE CANS ON SALE.KROGER IS USUALLY THE ONLY PLACE TO GET THEM ON SALE . WHAT HAPPENED? HAVE YOU STOPPED HAVING THEM ON SALE TOO ??

Worst Kroger in Charlottesville. Very lazy "employees", even the cashiers wont bag your items. Most of it is self check out too and very dirty. I only go here sometimes because it's close to my house but avoid when possible.

I want to share a public thank you to Sean in the meat department. When I couldn't find a large enough turkey in the freezer case, Sean went to the back, brought out a cartload of turkeys and searched through them until he found one big enough for me. Thank you Sean for putting in the extra effort to make my trip to Kroger a success.

I was there for the first time this am. I asked a staff member (young man) what aisle the bread was in. He said “I don’t know, I’m new”. Perfectly understandable, everyone is new sometime. I then asked if he could find out. He said that I will just have to find another staff and ask them. I said you mean I need to hunt someone else down and ask them. He said “yep”. Come on Kroger, you can do better!

I went through customer service for two services and was harassed by security. As I checked our she accused me of using self checked out as an excuse to violently stop my basket with her manual switch with my two month old in the basket causing him to jerk in an aggressive manner. Sorta like being hit from the rear in a vehicular accident. I told her I did not use self check out so she didn't need to check my receipt. This lady with the bad weave needs to be fired for profiling a defamation. I purchased all of my items and had a receipt.

I was here at 3 pm. Friday August 25th. The only person at the seafood counter. It took nearly 10 minutes for the person serving me to put 4 lbs of crab into 4 heavy plastic bags. For which I paid for at $10 per pound. Kroger if you can't do any better than that, I can find another place to buy our seafood.
