Small facility, but well outfitted. Had the basics to get a decent workout. Bathrooms are clean. The only reason it doesn't taste higher for me is because the vibe is off. Most of the patrons in the gym are older and rehabbing or doing PT. It was an energy suck for me.

Adore this gym. I have insomnia and recently found out that working out helps that and my night anxiety quite a lot so this gym is perfect for me! Very clean, and everyone is nice and minds their business.

I live east of Charlottesville so this location is the most convenient. Thanks to Justin Pretlow I’ll be returning to work this Monday. That was hard for me to imagine 3 1/2 months ago.

I'm a 70 year-old man who has worked out for 45 years, in gyms on four continents. To me, ACAC is the thinking person's health club. It is run by people who are managers who also happen to be enthusiastic about health and fitness. Standards are high in every area -- maintenance, employee expertise, programs and equipment. This is the place other gym owners need to study.

I go all different times of the day and week. The staff is always very friendly. I must say, Tim, does an excellent job of cleaning and sanitizing. He is always actively cleaning, mopping, dusting the entire time I am there.

Working from home means that I have to make a special trip to the gym, and motivation comes easy when I'm headed to acac Pantops. My schedule has been erratic during the pandemic, so the flexibility to get to the gym at all hours has been incredibly helpful to curtail my stress levels and continue with my fitness goals. The facility is always clean and practicing social distancing is never a problem.
