My son started here in the fall and we love it. They have been so kind and patient with my very shy child! I love being able to come in and participate in the class and watch my son interact with the teachers and students. Plus I get to know the other kids and families. The teachers go above and beyond! I will be enrolling my other two children as they get older.

Both of our kids went through CPI and had a fantastic experience. The teachers and staff are so thoughtful. The creative energy they brought to the classroom each day was so valuable for our kids' social development, curiosity, and preparation for elementary school. The coop experience was a nice way to stay connected to the kids by participating in their education.Do yourself a favor and try out CPI. It's well worth it.

My children went to this school over a total of 6 years. They loved it and we loved it! We were there for several years pre-pandemic and several after--the staff adapted their programs beautifully to keep the school thriving. I highly recommend Centreville Preschool for their caring and experienced staff, fun programs, and ability to be involved in your kids' first school!

My son’s first school experience was at Centreville Preschool and I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to his school journey. One aspect of the school that drew me to it was that it is a co-op. It was so wonderful to see my son so excited about school and watch him interact with friends and engage in the well-planned classroom activities. The school’s play-based curriculum encourages creativity, allows students to explore and make choices, and fosters positive relationships between peers. The CPI teachers are so warm and caring and truly make you feel part of a community.

The teachers and staff are wonderful, creative, and accommodating. Both of my children have had a great experience and loved attending. It's been a genuine friendly atmosphere as a coop parent as well. I would highly recommend CPI to anyone who wants their children acclimated to school.

I cannot say enough about how amazing CPI was for my son. Because of Covid, this was his first school experience and he thrived under the combination of learning and playing. His teacher was amazing as were all the staff and other teachers I met. I really also enjoyed the co-op aspect of the school because it allowed me to be a part of the classroom and see how things are run. I was so impressed with how much they accomplished without making it too overwhelming for both the parent helper and the children. Their schedule was structured but also allowed the flexibility to change things if necessary. The school prepared my son so well for Kindergarten that he transitioned seamlessly and is excelling both socially (so very important because of Covid!) and academically. I am so thrilled they found a new place to call home and I'm looking forward to putting my daughter in CPI when she gets older!

My daughter attended preschool there last year and had a wonderful experience. My impression of the place was that it was well-run with experienced teachers who provided a safe space for my daughter to grow. As a result, my daughter developed better social and academic skills. Overall, I highly recommend this preschool.

Beware of the unseasoned leadership and the lack of transparent communications at this school. This school is unable to develop and apply consistent policies to support families and children - especially with their covid response during the 2021-2022 school year. There is a high probability that your family will be singled out with policies created on the fly to suit the school's position in the moment. Their code of ethics is highly questionable given the intense volume of back channeling and discussions among teachers in leadership roles, select parents that have similar philosophies as the Board, and the Board. It is not a transparent organization. The school did not reference or share specific code and guidelines used to inform their return to school policy during a covid outbreak. No contingency plan, a worse or best case scenario was defined, nor was there insight into the reasons why decisions were made. Emails were sent multiple times at 11 Pm or beyond to inform parents there would be no school the next day and no idea when school would reopen. Parents were left to figure it out on their own. Unclear communications about the type of covid testing required for students to return to school. Sometimes it is a PCR or sometimes an antigen test but no clarity around what type was valid for which scenarios. It wasn't until the third communication out of the 4th that a return to school required a PCR. This clearly contributes to increasing health inequities around access to healthcare for families. Some parents were informed of some information while others were not. I paid for tuition for multiple weeks of school when two of my children were unable to attend due to their conservative interpretations of covid policies. It's an organization that's in the business of accepting tuition but not delivering on the educational services agreed upon.

1) I came on here to check the ratings of this school and there hasn't been on in about 5 years, so that makes a bit more sense.2) I was appalled when I contacted this facility asking for fees, and I literally got a response with a link. Like no hello, no thanks for reaching out, no offers for visiting. Nothing. Not that I expecting someone to come on their hands and knees, but I also contacted 4 other schools in the area, and they all sent me novels of emails and asked if i was interested in a tour/etc. When I let them know that, I got an email saying they were really busy and they answered what I asked. If i had more questions, just ask.3) I'm part of several moms group and after this issue happened, I reached out to them to see if anyone had any experience with your facility. I was told the same thing happened to them. Snarky responses back. They ended up finding another school.I'm not sure who is leading the communications department here, but you have the wrong person in that role.

Centreville Preschool is a wonderful school where the teachers really care about the kids. The play-based learning approach is great and I've seen a huge difference in my son's development over the past two years. Since it's a co-op, I love being able to participate in the classroom and see what they do. Both my kids will be attending this fall. This school is a fantastic choice for any child, and tuition is very affordable!

Just LOVE this school! All 5 of my children attended and each one had a truly wonderful experience. After 8 years we felt like the teachers were family. If you are looking for a warm and loving play based preschool experience this is the school you want. One of our favorite things about Centreville Preschool is that it is a Coop. My children looked forward to the day that they were the special helper and that mom or dad was the parent aide. It was a special experience to see my kids interacting in class with their friends and really get to know them all.
