“Left Portsmouth post office, not sure why I went in the first place, they are complete trash….and came to this wonderful post office and was greeted by a wonderful young lady smiling and was very nice and helpful!! What a complete difference in the two cities! Great job Chesapeake Square post office I will always come here!!”

“The ladies in this post office could not have been nicer. We discussed what we needed to do and she kindly and patiently explained how we needed to make that happen. She suggested materials and sold us exactly what we needed. We then went to our vehicle and prepared our envelope and returned to process. A second lady took care of us, professionally and kindly and efficiently. Nothing but good things to say about this post office!”
“Although not a resident of Newport News I go to this post office for passport services. I had a positive experience previously when services were still walk in and returned for my renewal. The employee Angelina was so helpful and pleasant which makes the process so much easier”

“We came in on a Saturday morning to mail a package to a relative in California. Liz, who was working at the desk was just the nicest and most patient postal worker I’ve ever met. It was truly refreshing to find someone as service oriented and genuinely kind. It was a pleasure!”
“This USPS locates in the Warwick Center Shopping area on the Warwick Blvd NN VA. Everything about postal service. Sometimes very crowded, little bit waiting, but quick service.”
“This is the closest Post Office in the area. I am giving them 4 out of 5 stars because they can not keep workers. This location is constantly business but only has one customer service representative helping customers. This happens on a regular basis. Example on a Friday at 515, there is a line out the door. After 45 mins, I am inside. I inquire about what is causing the delay. A gentleman explains that most workers got sent to the hospital due to COVID which only left one teller. Now I am no expert but I'm thinking this location should have closed and got disinfected or cleaned. Anyway, the one staff that was left has been working at this location for at least 10 years. He is the friendliest person they have on staff. His interaction with all customers is a blessing. This gentleman takes extra care with the elderly and explains things to them. If you have patience and want quality service, this is the post office.”

“I wanted to share a good review of this place since I see so many not great ones. I expected this place to be packed on a day a few days away from Christmas. The individual at the counter, Jason, was super helpful, kind and considerate to not only myself but the few people in front of me. Post office continues to have great prices and ships fast. The phone does not ring to the front so be aware of that. I'll easily come back here if I get to work with him again.”

Dominique is very efficient while being polite, and he goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Currently, this Post Office is a pleasure to use and our community residences don’t have to travel to other Post Offices in order to avoid unfortunate endless confrontations.”

“Love this Post Office! Manager is very helpful and friendly as are all the workers I have encountered there. This location has full service hours unlike others in this area. Unfortunately, like Jaybird nest, I had a birthday card stolen sent to be by a friend to this location. Since the mail comes out of Norfolk, or Sandston before it gets here the thief could originate from anywhere. Sad, but even people that make good salaries can still be theives.”
