This new(ish) location is clean inside but a bit smaller and cramped than I was expecting. They have a walk-up order kiosk set up like Wawa for their Royal Farms chicken with several options where it's made fresh as soon as you order. Nice touch. They also had some ready to grab and go in a warmer with a few other pastries and food items by the line. Lots of drinks and other gas station finds were available but the aisles were small and it was more cramped inside than I expected. It was OK but nothing special. It's on the rural route to Cape Charles and other towns along the Eastern Shore so there isn't much here - having this addition is nice.

Never been to a Royal Farms before. They are conveniently located right at the entrance/exit to Kiptopeke State Park. They offer everything a regular gas station/7-11 would offer, then add pre-made fried chicken and wedges, also a touch pad like Sheetz, to order subs and breakfast and the like. I got coffee this morning near 0700. I glanced at the fried chicken. It looked off color. Not crispy fried deep brown color. I wouldn't eat it, personally. I also didn't need to use the restroom and that's good because they were shutdown due to some type of "backup" I heard them say. Coffee was ok. It was all touch screen. Pretty neat. I'll have to try the Royal Farms in Opal. Closest one to my house, I believe.

Restrooms out of service so they have a sign up the front door to use porta potties outside. The porta potties were horrendous! They have not emptied them for at least a week or more. The outside trash was overfilled and two of the employees inside the store just chatting inside. I wonder how clean their kitchen is ah?

The Chicken and fries we got there were disappointing and abit overpriced. Bathroom for men was a portable Bathroom outside and it was discussing. But free parking for 18 wheelers fits about 5 to 6.

This Royal farms looks like it's been through the apocalypse or at least the economic collapse....... Lots of dwindling supplies drinks, snacks etc, out of chicken , out of potato wedges....... Slushie machines out of order milkshake machines broken ....The staff what little stuff there was mind you this is after 9:00 was very rude and just downright did not want to be there.... They also have no working restrooms they have porta potties out front that are full of human waste and out of toilet paper ?My recommendations is keep driving either wait till you get over the other side of the Chesapeake Bay bridge/tunnel or if you're coming the other direction keep driving to the next Royal farms or Wawa ........

Convenient and quick! My cheeseburger slider was delicious! The counter workers were so friendly, mannerly and quick! I also enjoyed my Chicken Slider! Rolls were so fresh! I was greeted by a friendly gentleman worker when I came in. Quick checkout with the self serve computers!
