Good gym. The employees there are amazing and always greet you at the door and remember your name. Solid gym solid environment.

The equipment is number 1 for both cardio and weight training stations with maintenance. The men's locker room and showers are getting cleaned better. Only 4 stars because the music is very bad: heavy metal/screamy rock in one song, followed by drippy R & B in the next song. Then, back to hard rock, and so on. 99% of the patrons bring their own music. No wonder. I can only ask that Gold's gym at least lower the volume of their house music.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They will provide you with misinformation and do not support correctly to any questions. I had a small balance on my account which came due to mistake in Golds Gym staff. They told me that they fixed it which in fact they did not. They then sent the balance to collections. The gym is nice but due to poor management, I will have to cancel my membership.

I've been a member since I was 18. Everything has been Excellent. But, unfortunately this new Gym at Baileys has an awesome equipment. But, classes now they either charging you extra or put a projector to do Group classes instead putting an Instructor!!!! I'll prefer to do my group classes alone at home..Paying, gym just to use some of their equipment!!! Thinking, going somewhere else's!!!No, wonder why is empty now days!!! Plus, the classes for rpm not even close how they are teaching this class!!Instructors, are not well trained!!!Hope, they will change all of this and go back to the old times Golds Gym

I was coming back from a shoulder injury and in a state of apprehension and excitement decided to pop in and see if I should join. I explicitly told them “I can’t work out yet” and they said I could sign up and put it account on pause and wouldn’t be charged. Unfortunately my shoulder injury didn’t recover as expected and so I couldn’t lift weights for another couple of months and I was getting charged regularly, including fees that weren’t explained when I signed up. Calling didn’t work so I went in and asked to speak to a manager. I explained what was discuss and he said he would take care of it. He paused it for a while and I just told him it’s been a terrible experience and I just don’t want to live forward. To this day I never worked out in there once and gave them around $400 total. And I still get calls from automated service saying they’re having issues processing my payment. Money grabbers and Liars.

edited review. This was voted as the best new gym in the country several months ago, and my review is now edited because the gym is starting to get cleaned better which is a credit to the management. I hope the men's locker room will continue to be closed periodically briefly for cleaning thoughout the day. Yet, the tiled shower niches in the men's locker room where you can place your shampoo, etc. are still not cleaned. The equipment is good, and that is the most important part, but in peak-time, in the bench press and dumb bell room, which is small and narrow--to make space, a couple Stairmasters in the adjacent room could be removed and that space reconfiged with benches along the wall to sit for arm curls, etc. could be helpful since all other workout stations are being used.

It's one of the best gyms I have the honor to attend. Very clean, well ventilated, very kind staff. The equipment is top of the line very spacious overall. You won't regret joining the gold's gym family. The only downside is to really enjoy the facility. Try to avoid the pick hours doesn't get over crowded, but you will have better access to everything on a more relaxed hour, ah! There's no sauna, at least no that I know of... or swimming pool something to keep in mind.

I joined this Gold's when it opened because it's close to where I live. It has a decent amount of equipment but doesn't do a good job with maintenance. There were several months when nearly half of the treadmills weren't working. Often the monitors on strength equipment don't work. Those things were tolerable, but what I absolutely cannot live with is their practice of taking money from customers after we cancel our memberships.I cancelled in July and in mid-August was billed $70 for an annual fee that they refuse to return to me. There is apparently no recourse to get the money back since they insisted they could only accept payments directly from a bank account and not a credit card, so there is no dispute mechanism. Avoid this gym unless you want to take a chance they'll continue to take your money even after you leave.

My experience with this Gold Gym was far from satisfactory. I subscribed to their monthly membership about half a year ago, which I was told could be canceled at any point. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I had to leave the country. I made multiple attempts to cancel my membership in person, but my efforts were in vain as I continued to be charged. Regrettably, the customer service, especially from the manager, left much to be desired - my concerns were consistently ignored rather than addressed. It felt akin to daylight robbery. I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this place to prevent unnecessary financial loss. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Period!!!

My experience at Gold's Gym was regrettably disappointing. The facility's poor maintenance and unclean locker rooms created an unsatisfactory environment. The indifference of the staff, coupled with a dismissive manager, eroded my trust in their service. The arduous cancellation process, despite having a flexible membership, resulted in unending charges. Given these experiences, I wouldn't recommend Gold's Gym as it could potentially lead to unnecessary distress and financial loss. Avoid this Gym is the best advise I could share.

I've been going there since the first day it opened. Disappointing. The front desk is generally unwelcoming. Mostly they don't greet you at all. Bad management. Personal Trainers are nice. 35-45 min wait for popular machines since there is only one. Unless it is 6am-10am. 3 people waiting in line so good luck if you can ever have a chance to use what you need even after a long wait. Mostly the issues like these are because of uncivilized customers who go to the gym not to work out but to talk on their phones. They sit there with their cell phones with no shame, no respect while others waiting in the line. The management doesn't enforce nor monitor any rules. Today, I went to talk to the front desk about it, but two employees were talking to each other while I waited right in front of them. I gave up trying and decided to cancel my membership right at that moment.

• the music is awful. It’s so depressing. It’s bizarre they’re playing depressing music instead of something upbeat like house music.• the only water fountain is near the locker room. No water in the workout area.• the room with free weights is a joke. Way too small and crowded.• there are kids working out. I don’t think children under 18 should be allowed to lift at Gold

Been trying to cancel my membership, no one has helped me with that. I tried doing it through the billing company over the phone but when I mentioned that to the person, immediately he acted as if he couldn’t hear me on the phone, the rest of the conversation before that there was no issue, he heard me just fine. Really convenient for that person, I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. Also tried emailing the manager, he responded at first but once I insisted on canceling the membership I haven’t gotten a response from him since last week either. I guess it’s true what they say about gym memberships & getting out of their contracts, don’t do it.
