This isn’t a fault of the restaurant but this place is a playground of children. If you’re a family looking for a place to be then this is a good thing for you. If you’re wanting to be with adults this isn’t it. Every other table is children under ten.

The lighting is superb. Just makes you want to drink beer. But fresh juices are ok as well. Smile at checkout lady.
Dietary restrictions: My teeth are sensitive to cold.

There were 6 of us at a table. We all ordered something different to eat AND we all thought what we had was very, very good. Hard to beat that. Parking is a little tricky but doable.
Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian choices to make a mixed table possible.

Great neighborhood Italian store. Everything from sandwiches to wine. Sunday Gravy and pasta too many choices mention. Do some grocery shopping then Order some prepared food and sit down on patio and have a great meal.

Good beer selection. However, the owner refused to pay an Electrician friend after he put in several days of work. For that reason, I no longer go there.

We are long time frequenters of the market and beer garden (since its earliest days). This place is great. It’s a bit worn around the edges, the market itself (grocery part) could afford an upgrade, but otherwise I have no complaints. This place is the anchor of Westover.

Most new restaurants these days are so boring, they all have the same food, same music, same appearance, while pretending to be more than what they are. NOT this place! Absolutely no pretense here! We always sit inside, love the cozy space with great music. Their small menu seems to have the staff's own favorites, great comfort food. And the bartenders take really good care of everyone, even when they are so busy.

Was hoping for a 5 star experience, but the food disappointed. Ordered 2 burgers medium rare with fries - both came beyond well done (mine had crunchy bits of char) and both had a handful of fries (not $4 worth). Ordered cheese curds - the size of the order was not reflective of the cost, and they were overly greasy and tasted like chain restaurant mozzarella sticks. The three beers we ordered were tasty; but the bill with tip for this modest fare was over $100. Should have been closer to $50 considering quantity and quality . Still love the market, but not sure we’ll be returning to eat at the beer garden again…

First timer…..WOW! The beer / wine selection is not only huge but well thought out. No duds in this list!Food….wonderful. I did not have high hopes thinking it was going to be the usual bar bites. The entire menu was super. It contained many items with ingredients which were sourced locally and delicious. Will I be back? Definitely!Give it a try…..you will be back!PS try the Ono Flip Flop raspberry sour. It rocked! Perfect on a warm day. ?

A charming beer cafe in an absolutely charming neighborhood. Had a few beers from the tap and were absolutely delightful! I would definitely recommend the stout, the cider is good too but a bit fruity if that is not to your taste. The inside of the cafe is pretty and cozy but I only sat in the open air space which is very nice and comfortable, even if you are in larger groups. There's a kitchen as well for food but I didn't have any. Will go back a few times, loved the vibe of the place.

Quality ingredients are the Strong Point of this neighborhood gem of a Bistro. Service is an afterthought and seems more like it's a floating Friend of a Friends helping out situation. That said take your time and you may learn things on subjects that run the full multitude of the human experience. Free flowing thoughts and good conversation.

5 stars for the staff, who are really accommodating and kind. We came in late one night to watch the Caps game, no one was there, and even though they had closed their kitchen, they looked around and brought out some tortilla chips and salsa. A very kind gesture after I had just landed from a 10 hour flight.

Good food. We wanted to share an off brand bottle of chardonnay, But the bartender wanted $40. So we left.
