I read the reviews before going there but I thought that the reviews were legitimate ones not fake ones. I just had a bad experience all around. The car was working better than when I dropped it off. The cost at the dealership was better with a better warranty. Customer service was good until I questioned their practices.

My family has been using Japanese Auto Clinic for a couple years now. They always do quality work at very reasonable prices and they truly value customer loyalty. I recently had them complete two pre-purchase inspections and they only charged me half for the second one. It was an extremely nice surprise after the horrors of used car shopping!

I stopped by to replace a timing belt and a water pump on my 2011 Odyssey. Quick and professional jobs done. The cost was lower than other mechanic shops. Very kind staffs. I do not hesitate to give 5 stars.

I came to Japanese Auto for new brakes and inquired the cost the day prior to get an idea of what it would cost me. I drove up the next day at 7:30am and the car was ready by 11am! It also was exactly the cost I was given! Great thanks to the guys at Japanese Auto! I will be coming here from now on.

Only place I take our 20 year old Acura MDX and new Toyota. They installed an OEM trailer tow hitch and wiring harness on our RAV4 Prime, and helped preserve the rear liftgate foot / kick sensor functionality. Dealer installs cost $500-$600 more and they remove the foot sensor. They stand behind their work, and don’t recommend unnecessary work! 5 stars!!

Very responsive and reasonable prices. I anticipated, given the busy service bays and waiting vehicles, a several day wait. Within 2 hours I had the prognosis and a couple hours later it was ready. These are going to be my go to Honda fixers!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had to have my car towed here after it broke down on the side of the highway. They found a leak in the radiator and were able to replace it in a day! The service person did a good job explaining the other issues they found with my car that need to be fixed soon but not right now. Their prices seem to be competitive and pretty reasonable compared to other indepent auto shops. I will probably be back to get some of that follow up work done soon!

I work on my own car and they helped me pop off some lug nuts I didn’t have the hardware for. Saved me $200 of “labor” other shops were charging. 5/5

I took my car to JAC due to the positive reviews. I was so disappointed with them. Not only do they charge $130 labor fee per hour, which is the highest rate I’ve seen, they also only fix what you ask and that’s it. I knew my left tire rod needed replacing. They replaced it and didn’t check to see if the right might need replacing. They simply did the work at an inflated rate. I later noticed my right tire rod needed replacing so I took my car to Falls Church to get the it replaced and spent LESS THAN half the amount I spent here. The mechanic at the shop in Falls Church also checked all my fluids and fixed this squeak that was happening in the steering without me even mentioning it. I would not recommend this place to a working person like myself. The prices are way high and the customer service is whack.
