Rooms: Very disappointed to learn that housekeeping service is only provided every three days! I paid over $400 a night. I’ve never stayed anywhere that housekeeping does not come daily. Also, every time I tried to call any hotel phone number from my phone in the room, it rang busy. This happened all weekend. Including room service, the front desk, guest services, everything. I could never get through to anyone. Ridiculous for a room that is this expensive.

I got in the shower and discovered a big clump of someones’s hair on the wall.
I notified them and they offered to clean it (which I had to do myself or I wouldn’t have made my morning meetings), but they never offered anything to compensate me for a truly nauseating experience.
I’ve worked in hospitality and I spend 50-75 nights a year in hotels. When a guest discovers a handful of hair on the wall that your staff failed to clean, that should be a free room. These folks didn’t even offer me a drink at the bar.
Major management problems here. Look elsewhere.

I always wondered why so many of my friends insisted on staying in Hyatts. Well I found out on this trip! The customer service is absolutely incredible. Standouts were the night desk clerk, the breakfast staff, and the wonderful manager of the hotel. Wow! Also the location of this hotel is absolutely amazing, steps away from the Rosslyn metro plus walking distance to just about anything you need including a Target. If you are not from the city, you will feel very safe here with your family. Thanks again to all and I'm happy to say after this trip I am a Hyatt member for life!

The rooms are nice but very small we had trouble with the air conditioning trying to figure out why when you leave your room for a couple hours and you haven't said it 68 but come back and it's 82° in the room it's ridiculous The hotel is located really strategically around lots of restaurants there's a little bitty target It's the smallest target I've ever seen right up the street there's all kinds of places to eat it's very close to the Metro so we just got off our plane at the airport took the shuttle took the Metro got here didn't have to rent a car The Metro takes you any place you want to go but the hotel is very nice the restaurants very expensive so you might want to find some place to eat somewhere else besides the hotel The staff is very very friendly I can't say enough about the staff they were very nice.

After confirming my reservation 3 times over 2 months, including that same morning, I arrived at the hotel to learn that they had no room for me there, and that they had moved me to another hotel 45 MINUTES AWAY! That's completely unacceptable, especially since I was going to a conference 2 minutes away. They gave no reason for the change and no alternative solution.
I went looking for a new hotel on my own and found that they had rooms available, but significantly increased the price, I assume in order to get more from the last minute conference registrants.
Money grabbers.

I stayed at the hotel as business traveler. Since I run around a lot, it was very important to me that I be able to refresh and cool down before my meetings. When I called ahead, they said that check-in was at 4pm, and that early check-in can be requested, but the app will tell you when your room is available... not very helpful. Well, it turns out I got screwed over on my flights and some other things, so I was not a happy camper when I finally arrived at the hotel, still considerably before 4pm. Without knowing any of this, Sasha helped me check in early, upgraded my room, and gave me free breakfast. It was exactly the kind of gesture that can salvage a bad trip. The rooms are clean and quiet, the decor is modern, and the view on the 12th floor is nice. But, what earned you guys 5 stars was Sasha's customer service. Overall, it was a great experience at a reasonable price point.

Great location. Supermarket, great restaurants, Rosslyn metro station, fast food waliking distance. Inside the hotel there is places to eat. Heat water regulation in the bath was very difficult. Room view and a/c good. The tv guide is horrible. I got there at 1pm. They offered me a room for an extra $50 since the check in time was at 4pm. I prepaid thousands to stay there and they rather prefer me waiting for three hours. Bad business!

Oh wow, I picked this hotel kind of randomly since I didn't really know the area. What an awesome thing I did! The service was fantastic, the room comfortable, and the location was amazing. We spent most of our time around the National Mall and it only only took 18 minutes from our room to the Federal Triangle.

Room smelled awful, random charges mysteriously added to bill at checkout.
