You have got to be kidding me calling this a 3 star facility. Maybe it was 30 years ago, not anymore. The walls are paper thin. You’ll hear doors automatically slam shut all hours of the night. If you must stay here and are a light sleeper I highly recommend ear plugs. The grout on the shower floor has clearly never been cleaned. It’s brown from dirt and really nasty.

Great location near the metro. The hotel is clean and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions.

I am a HH member, i.e. a frequent guest at Hilton Group hotels, as I travel a lot for work. I have unfortunately observed during the past few years that the Hilton hotels in the US are on a deterioration path as the quality of services and facilities gets worst. However, it was a surprisingly fresh breeze to discover and stay at Hilton Arlington. The level of service and facility quality here was on par with a 5-star hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Timely and superb cleaning. Cool decorations. Well-maintained facilities. This will be a place where I will stay next time I visit Washington DC.

The hotel itself is centrally located in the Ballmore district near shopping the Metro and tons of good restaurants. The check in process was easy and made pleasant by the staff who were top notch. The rooms were dated and the hotel room floors are in need of renovation. The beds were just OK and pillows were downstairs and went flat easily so I had to double them up. Breakfast was included with my status and it was pretty solid but minimal change from one day to the next. I'll stay again if I'm in the area but I'm hoping they renovate soon.

Giving 4 stars for the nice staff. I booked a 2 beds deluxe room for 2 nights. There was a fridge missing in that room and bad smell in the room was there because of the air circulation from the A/C. Front desk changed my room the next day and it had a fridge and the A/C was good. Thanks to the front desk. I believe the price per night should be lower than it is. Location is awesome. Parking is gated in a proper garage with in-out privileges for $22/night

Smell of first room was HORRIBLE. Thankfully, we could change to another room- which didn't have a fridge and was small. Pretty worried that the whole place has mold, needs to be updated. There's 1 peleton bike in the exercise room, which has no ventilation! Bed was old school box springs. Overall, I would not stay again, even though the staff was kind and it's on top of the Metro (prime location).

I stayed here with my partner whilst we visited D.C. from England and the hotel was fantastic. It is literally right outside a metro stop which makes it super convenient to get into downtown and to Dulles airport, and there is a direct bus to Georgetown from right outside the hotel. The rooms are very well sized, modern and clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.I have to give a special shout-out to Ms Jackson. We left a very important jacket in the hotel room at checkout, and she has gone above and beyond to help us ship it all the way back to the UK! She was so helpful and I am very grateful for her excellent customer service.I will definitely be staying at the Hilton Arlington next time I visit D.C.!

The hotel is literally located on top of the Ballston metro station. It's extremely convenient for getting around Washington DC and Arlington. The room is a typical Hilton room and it is kept very clean. It is not a brand new Hotel, as you might expect. The free breakfast is good and the people working in it truly try to make it a good experience.

This Hilton is in a nice area. So many places to go to within walking distance. They have self parking available for a daily fee. The parking spots are a bit small, but they work. Could be difficult to maneuver with a large vehicle. You can check-in using the Hilton app if you want to skip in person check-in, want to use a digital key, and pick your own room from what is available. However, if you have a certain Hilton Honors level, you may be able to get two free bottles of water at the front desk. The staff was very nice and friendly. Chatted with customers, helped find places to go, and even brought up our free breakfast vouchers when we forgot to get them. The hotel is pretty nicely kept. The room was clean and had everything we needed to include iron and ironing board and mini fridge. They even provide all of the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. The only thing was that the shower curtain had a little bit of a moldy-ish smell, but wasn't bad. Overall, nice place. We would recommend this hotel to others.

I come to this hotel often for business. I appreciate the small things like digital check in and keycards, digital checkout, and its proximity to a lot of great food options. The rooms have always been clean and staff is always quite friendly.Walkability: Walking distance to lots of great coffee, food, bars, and the metro in Ballston Quarters.

The ACs are broken in many rooms 80 degrees and they Didn't move people. Other rooms smell like wet socks. They were not even honest about the issue during check in. 3 teammates of ours had an absolute miserable stay, I'm shocked they didn't move to the Westin.Rooms: Don't put people in broken rooms... acknowledge the issue and get It fixed vs. People having to be miserable ?.

I stayed here in mid-August with my pup. I liked the option of being able to choose my own room and digital key. The room was clean and quiet. As a Hilton Honors Member, I got breakfast included. Breakfast was good and the servers were pleasant and remembered you! The highlight of my stay was the interaction with the front desk staff, especially the assistant Front Desk Manager, Ms. Brown and the Eagles Fan who works with her. I laughed and smiled more than I expected to and looked forward to the interactions. Security was present, which as a solo traveler was welcomed. My pup and I were treated very well. When I return to the area, I will stay at this hotel.Pros:Location - Metro Station steps away; about 5 mins or less to the highwaysFood - breakfast was good, buffet style. Lots of eateries in the area.Rooms - Clean and quiet. Pillows were like sleeping on clouds.Staff - Friendly, professional, VERY accommodating, and funny!Area - very clean, new buildings, safeCons - I had to go homeRooms: The room was quiet and clean. I loved being able to choose my room.Safety: I felt safe in the hotel. Security was present and I saw them doing their rounds. There were some unhoused hanging by the Metro station but I did not feel unsafe.Walkability: The area is very walkable and clean.

I am a diamond member and stay in hotels more than my house. The service and hospitality shown by the lady and gentleman on the front desk were top drawer. A package of mine was supposed to have been sent to the hotel but was delivered to the wrong address, and they took it upon themselves to go above and beyond to try to help locate it. Very much appreciated. I’m sorry that I did not get their names!
