This review is for Costco Pharmacy mainly! I just want to thank the lovely ladies that helped me to get my Hepatitis B shot. First of all, very responsive over the phone about the timing for a Walk-in (since I didn't schedule an appointment). They helped me filing all the info and went over the 2 different Hepatitis B shots they have (a strong one of 2 dosages and the common one of 3 dosages!). They have a wide selection of vaccines for fair prices! (If you have a Costco card, definitely get an update of your vaccines here!) They were very gentle with me, specially the person who handled me with care the moment I got the shot, I'm terrified of needles (to a borderline fear). So I get extremely anxious and I can easily faint/shock. The only downside, is parking situation, it was really hard to get there with all the traffic! The clerk lady, helped my husband to get me a bottle of water because I did almost faint/pass out.

Love this Costco! There are always plenty of carts and the greeters at the front checking your membership are always so friendly and kind. Usually by the front to the left they have items that are on sale which is convenient and also leads to some impulse purchases. This location is large and has tons of inventory but is very easy to navigate. There are always deals to be found. The produce at this Costco is generally very fresh and doesn't rot that quickly. Lots of samples too if you come at the right time! Of course, the food court is great for a quick, easy, and cheap meal. Grab a slice of pizza for $1.99 or a hot dog and soda for $1.50. They also have a turkey sandwich now and chocolate chip cookies instead of churros. No water cups so bring a quarter to buy a bottled water from the vending machine! The parking lot is always pretty chaotic and the parking structure is narrow and difficult to drive in, but the open lots are nice! Free 2 hour validated parking with purchase. This Costco is located right by a Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, and 5 and Below which is convenient if you want to get a bunch of bargain shopping done in one trip.

I agree with all, that the parking and silly validation process stink. I showed my Costco card at entry, before entering the self-check-out area, and again at the self-check-out register, the card was then validated by the check-out machine before I started checking out. The guard, I mean the cashier assistant pointed to 3 large boxes and said she would only scan them. Then right when I was finished scanning all, she stepped forward and pointed to a small item I had put back in the cart and asked loudly and roughly if I had scanned this item. She was trying to be intimidating and was just rude. She was standing broad-legged, hands clamped behind her back, Marine Sargeant pose. Too many checks, for what I ask myself. I need to see what losses if any Costco had last year to come up with this redundant form of control. I will try avoiding Costco for a while.

Solid selection of items, always a reasonable price. It tends to be difficult to find parking and sometimes the checkout lines and food court lines are long, but I make do

The pharmacy at The Pentagon City Costco is excellent. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I live in DC, but travel to Pentagon City to get my prescriptions from Costco. Carolina is really terrific!

It's Costco so of course it's great! You have free samples from 12-4 and it's even connected to the mall if you could actually think of something that you couldn't already find in Costco itself. Just keep in mind that rush-hour hits Costco harder than 95 and you can easily get stuck in a jam and not make it out in time for your two hour validation at which point you have to pay for parking. It's probably worth the Costco experience either way

Again, this Costco Optical did marvelous. I brought in a destroyed pair of glasses and the Technician spent time meticulously fixing the problem, and I ended up buying another pair in the process. She was a young girl, with clear wire glasses, I believe her name was Sara. She went beyond to make me happy, and this Costco again has super Customer Service. I cannot believe how such a huge place can have always such superb service. Again, see the Optical Department for any of your needs. It is fantastic.

Really fallen through the floor at this location. Cancelling membership and may follow up with SCC to recoup the money fraudulently milked out by this Costco. If this is a reflection of Costco's new corporate leadership changes becoming more messy and greedy (which it seems like it may) then don't waste your time with them anymore. Have been an executive member for years but now they are refusing to honor features of the membership - this is on top of this location having a more disorganized inventory and a smaller and smaller inventory selection with poor QA - alot of food gone bad and clearly damaged items. They also mark prices differently for some reason. It may just be this location is particularly bad. The staff have been increasingly more idiotic, incompetent and all over the place here. I saw other people being harassed and mistreated by many staff, and particularly the managers names Quinn and one other shorter woman. Appalled they have employees who are so unprofessional and seem to be routinely pushing arguably illegal practices. Costco is usually known for great customer service but this place makes the worst franchises look like AAA angels. Either way this is the final straw. Save your money and time and avoid Costo and particularly this location. Updated note: After reading some of the reviews it seems Quinn and a few other employees are well documented to be serious problems at this location. However it seems like they have been present for at least close to a year, which speaks volumes on the management of the location and Costco leadership. Run.

Costco always has good deals.. tonight I tried their chicken wings, on a scale of 1-10.. I will give them a solid "7" .. beware of the pricing, it appeared to cost "$6.99" for the tray... when in fact it was $6.99/Ib

My parents waited a long time for a pizza we ordered an hour ago. We spoke with the supervisor Erik and was not compensated for the time wasted. No apologies during this conversation. Poor customer service from upper management. BEWARE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS POOR SERVICE.

The tire center will put you on hold for 20 plus minutes and the manager is rude. I called to check the status of a tire order because after a week they didn't call me and they put me on hold and the. Transferred me to a different line without telling me and it never went through to anyone. Wtf??? I then called back and was put on hold again. It's not even 11 am? This happens every time I call. Does anyone there give a shit? I never write reviews but this place is impossible to deal with. You'd think since car issues are so stressful they would be understanding but instead they're abrasive and unhelpful. This is coming from someone who is very knowledgeable about cars. The manager especially was rude and tried mansplaining my own car to me.

Yet another no-service, poor service, customer service. They target individual shoppers who don't have a huge loaded cart with 3 kids in tow. Every time I come here I am targeted. Today, I was asked if my card handy while in line. I responded that yes I do in my pocket. I was solo, and my granny small cart loaded and items in my hands. The employee demanded to see my card before proceeding to the self checkout and couldn't wait until I got to a register to unload and pull it out of my shirt pocket. I mentioned that my card was checked when I came in. (While others were not, like the granny who aggressively ran and side-swiped me to get in ahead of me(you know the type) .....nope not checked......discrimination because that employee discriminated not to look at granny's card but looked at mine. Costco has to do better to control theft but not at the expense of making members aka customers feel like criminals at check out. Change that policy and add more enforcement. Don't tell me that you applied all those cost saving measures for self checkout to keep prices low. They have only gone up since post pandemic inflation. More employees up front will save on theft. Costco stop targeting people. By the way I visit stores in another home state....it's not as bad as this store at Pentagon city. Such a bad rep from its horrible no customer service.

Love Costco, not this one. I haven't been on a week day so I can't give it a fair estimate but on a Saturday, two stars. We went around 12:45 it was a mad house-not their fault on that. The store has everything you need but because of the building size everything feels tighter compared to other costcos. The people giving out samples are very slow and seem to no sense of urgency. At the food court, we ordered one pizza which took almost 45 minutes. There were 4 people behind the main counter looking at the ticket orders that were not ready but when asked if the pizza order had been called they would tell you, you needed to ask the one person who was taking pizzas out of the oven. Every table was occupied with people rushing to grab it before the last person had even gotten their trash up. A clear solution to the mayhem would have been one person be the main communication for the customers who were standing around asking each other what was going on. Another suggestion would have been to have a worker asking people if they needed their trash thrown away helping to move people along so there would more places for people to sit.
