Let's start with the good. It was within budget for a company event and close to where I needed to be. The breakfast area was stocked and hot foods were hot. Upon entering the room, it looked on the newer side and didn't smell horrible. The Internet worked. The TV worked. The fridge was clean. The microwave was clean. It was a good size room and worked good enough for my four night stay.I did not experience the daily housekeeping service that was offered as I put my "do not disturb" sign out and it was respected. Parking was easy to find and was free which is why I cancelled the previous place I booked because after parking it would not be within the travel budget set by my company. The water was hot, the toilet flushed, and the ac/heat wall unit worked as expected. All good things I appreciate in life. Now for the not so great....it was dirty. From the appearance of not being vacuumed by the beds to not being swept (see picture of giant hairball in the bathroom), to the back of the toilet needing a good wipe down, and soiled/stained towels with long back hairs falling from them when I grabbed one after a shower, it was disappointing. The first thing I noticed was the little shampoo was not full. I believe if they are trying to save the environment and get the most out of the mini bottles, they should mount some on the walls they can lock down and refill as needed because being offered used amenities in my opinion is gross. The good news is the front desk agent was able to get me two fresh bottles. As you can see in the picture, the one that was there to welcome me was not full when compared to one straight from the front desk. The bathroom was small but the overall room size was great. The closet is right there when you first walked in and was nice. I could see its benefit to provide privacy to the rest of the room and liked the design to break up the room a little. The side of the tub was also not so much dirty as just old and stained. I didn't try to scrub it but it could use a good scrub and hopefully that would get rid of some discoloration and the dirty appearance. I also thought the tile looked funny under the vanity but when I looked closer, I realized it was a bunch of hair that wasn't mine. It was from a light colored and long haired head. The mirror was also not spot free but it was large and I didn't need to look through the dirty spot to see myself. This location is a little more noisy than I expected but I also don't live in a city so it's possible the noise was as expected for others. I usually sleep like a rock but instead felt like I was sleeping on one and couldn't find the right pillow to avoid tossing and turning through the night. I did not sleep well in the bed but that was my preference and others may like it. I will say when I checked in I was greeted when I walked through the door. I never saw her again and it seemed the other front desk agents would look away and try to avoid people walking in which is fine with me. I don't need to be greeted each time I pass the front desk but it didn't allow me to say the service was anything special or that people were jumping up and down to give wonderful service to guests.I would say my stay was below average which is the reason for the two stars but I may try it again to see if it was just that room or is an overall issue with the property. I saw a woman with a clipboard talking to the cleaning crew so it seemed official and like things were getting done but maybe they missed the final inspection of my room.

Basic. Fine. Nothing to write home about. Was given this hotel for the night after American made me miss my connection, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was comfortable enough. The front desk staff was great.

Booked a block of rooms for a wedding - ALL the guests were extremely happy. The manager was way easier to book a block of rooms with than any of the other hotels in the area I tried, and the price could not be beat. Every staff member that I had contact with was excellent, and I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone.

I'd give this place more of a 4.5 to be approximate.I really enjoyed my stay here. Most front desk staff im used to can be rude and disengaged. Not here. Staff are super friendly and helpful.Hotel room was nice but as said in other reviews, the rooms are thin. Could hear other rooms shutting their doors and some noise very infrequently from other rooms. This didn't bother me at all. May be an issue if a room of kids is beside you. My toilet had a very loud flush and it felt like it was loud enough to be heard from three rooms over..They have a gym and complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was good and the gym wasn't bad but only has one strength machine which is a bit broken with three cardio machines but definitely not the worst gym I've seen in a hotel. Considering this is a 2 star gym I was happy with this as I can't ask for more based on what I paidThere is a very nice shuttle that takes you from the station to the hotel and from the hotel to the station. Only comes on the top of the hour so often I walked instead. Metro station is only 10 min walk away which makes this a really good location. The area is nice, quiet and safe so I didn't mind. Lots of nice restaurants and places about a 10 min walk away.Loved my stay here and would def come back

Decent value for money. Bit of a walk to Metro but they have a shuttle every hour to there. Breakfast is typical for this type of place. Room was prepped and clean!Rooms: Clean and tidy

Very expensive for what you get. Breakfast is not fresh, I am convinced they don't have a kitchen. Also, the amenities are practically non-existent. They don't even have an on-site vending machine with snacks. It is clear management thinks that running a hotel is passive income.

The room was very spacious and well insulated from the noise of traffic. The personnel were very helpful. The shuttle service to the Metro Station was very good. The breakfast was average and could have been better if they had their guests better under control: some took a pile of bacon (half of which they left on their plate) and/or fresh fruit for two days with the result that nothing was left for late comers. The restaurants nearby were horribly overpriced for the quality.Nearby activities: There's nothing nearby.Safety: Although fairly centrally located, the area was quiet and walking to restaurants was not a problem.

Stayed here for a night in 2022 and 2023. Both times were great stays! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was well stocked, and the location was great. It is only a short walk to the metro station if you want to go into DC. Will likely stay here again for my next trip to Washington DC.

I can't speak to the rooms or location but the service is horrendous and would avoid at all costs. I booked a room here through Expedia and inadvertently chose the wrong date by one day and called the hotel immediately to tell them what I did. They said to call the next day and speak to a manager. I called Expedia and they were willing to cancel the reservation or change the date if the hotel approved. The hotel refused to cancel or change the date by one day of the reservation because I booked through Expedia. They said they would change it if I booked through their website but since I didn't, they refused to help. The manager then proceeded to hang up on me after just stating that I would be out the money and to blame comfort inn, not him.

Travelled for a conference so wasn’t at the room much. It was clean and had all the conveniences needed like fridge and microwave. Breakfast was standard for this type of hotel - lots of bagels and sugary cereal. I wasn’t a fan of all the single use plates and cutlery but seems to be the norm in the US. The room wasn’t ready at checkin but they let me store my bags. Free shuttle to the metro station

The rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was really good. They offer hot food and cold food for breakfast. The dining area was clean and organized. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros:Perfect location for Arlington Cemetery and Washington DC attractions.Continental breakfast:hot (more like warm) and coldSpacious room and comfortable bedFree shuttle to metro rail station1/2-1 mile walk to plenty of clubs and dining.Cons:Have to call to have shuttle come and pick you up, otherwise doesn’t know to automatically come at the hour for return from metro station.Room doesn’t get cleaned daily, only “freshened up” (bed made and fresh towels only)No guest laundryWalls ARE THIN! If you don’t want to hear your neighbors, kids, slamming of doors of guests coming and going, I wouldn’t stay here, this hotel isn’t for you.Rooms: SpaciousNearby -1 mile walk to clubs and dining and metro rail station, about 15-20 min)Safety: Good neighborWalkability: If you can, stroll down to the strip.Noteworthy details: Young girl at the front desk was extremely nice and kind

Not a lot of hotels around Washington, DC, have free parking, and that makes this hotel stand out. The breakfast is very good. The staff was fine, but they were unable to give me any good tips about restaurants in the area. The hotel and my room were clean, but certainly old-fashioned with a 1970s look. The bed was comfortable, and the temperature was as well. I was assigned a room at the very end of the hall, and it was a long walk to get to the elevators. There are multiple elevators so you don't have to wait long for an available elevator. If you find a good price, feel confident in staying here.

We used this location as our base for a 10 night stay. The rooms are a bit dated but VERY comfortable and clean. You're a 10 min walk from the Metro station. A plus is the hotel does have a shuttle to the Metro as well. Another bonus is this location does NOT charge extra for parking.Isis and Hebron are phenomenal people. They are informative friendly and always made us felt welcomed and at home. When back in the DC area we will definitely be staying here !!!!

What a pleasant surprise! The room is incredibly spacious, and the bed is super comfortable and large. The mattress firmness is perfect for me, and I had a very comfortable sleep. The thoughtful design on the table and bedside cabinet includes multiple USB ports, which deserves a perfect score for this detail. The room is cleaned daily and is very clean and hygienic. The complimentary continental breakfast is my favorite. The fried eggs are served in different styles every day, and they offer two different flavors of waffles, two types of coffee, and four different fruit juices. It's fantastic. The hotel's free parking lot is also excellent, and they provided a parking pass during check-in. I personally witnessed a car without a parking pass being towed overnight, so the security is commendable. The hotel has additional facilities such as a car rental service, and they also offer shuttle service to Ronald Reagan Airport. I drove a 12-seater Ford van, and the parking spaces were spacious enough. The hotel is located at the entrance of Highway 66, in the heart of Arlington, with convenient transportation but still very quiet, without any noise. If you're traveling to Washington, D.C., staying here and driving to famous attractions like the National Mall only takes about fifteen minutes.
