What a hidden gem. Frankly I’d rather rate it a 1 star to keep this gem all to myself but that wouldn’t be fair to the staff there. It’s such a great quiet spot with great food and island drinks, please don’t go.

I can't say that I've used the official boat launch but I often use this Marina as my kayak launch point and it's a terrific facility. Plenty of parking even on the weekends from my experience. A great way to experience DC monuments on the water!

Must swipe credit card to launch your boat which is fine. Trash cans everywhere so the park is clean. A bar on the property which is always a plus. A busy place for bicyclist. Boat ramps are steep and deep for bigger boats

Nice place to hang while waiting to head into airport. Can walk out the floating dock. Take a snack for the ducks. They are very friendly. Will eat out of your hand. Has Porta pots.

Perfect location right in front of the Pentagon, and your just have to pull out of the marina into the Potomac and anchor ⚓. For the best ever 4th of July fireworks shows every year

Never new this place existed until my bestie told me. The chicken pesto sandwich was to die for and KeKe (bartender) makes AMAZING drinks. Great place for an afternoon getaway and it won't break your wallet.

Almost don't want to review this hidden gem! I had (several) Delicious orange crushes and great lobster roll. Views were delightful and the vibe was very relaxed. As a former eastern shore gal, this does the trick for a chill dock experience without the drive. Also made a duck friend. 5/5.

Great place with a public launch. Only improvement needed is low night time lighting, so bringing boat back up when sun has set is tricky.

Great place for kayaking. Free parking is always a plus. There is a separate dock for non-motorized boats including kayaks to go out onto the water. The view is really nice. We launched The kayaks and headed up river for about 2.5 miles will end you up in Georgetown. We docked at Thompson's boathouse before we started our journey back.
