Had an accident with a driver who was driving their rental car.Even though I was the victim,I had to make a lot of calls and wait on the phone to file a claim!After 4 hours I got a claim number and was told to go to an avis with it and get a rental car since I can’t drive my car.And the answer I got from the staff -which seemed to know nothing and he was left unattended there -was they can’t give out rentals for today.Do not rent a car from them and good luck of you get involve with a car that uses them!

Record everything!If you decide to rent a car or drop off a car at this location, make sure you record and document EVERYTHING.They charged me 90 dollars for gas, even though the tank was 1/4 full when I received the car and it was clearly stated in my documents. Luckily we got notified from our bank app immediately and I went back to them to remove the charges.

READ THE REVIEWS!!! DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! How in the world they can even be allowed to keep their doors open is incredible. The way they treat customers is beyond disbelief and the Avis Corp. should be ashamed to have any association with the store @ 3206 10th St North Arlington, Va. The repulsive male at the front desk is one of the most degrading, rude, DISHONEST individuals I have ever encountered.

This location is the biggest scam I have ever dealt with and I am a preferred member. Luckily I was able to record all my interactions with them and Avis corp to take further action. I cannot warn you enough DO NOT RENT FROM THEM

Really helpful and friendly lady at pickup, busy Saturday morning but good service. I was served by a guy who had trouble understanding me and the conversation was difficult as a result but ended up with an excellent vehicle and were able to return to a different location (which really suited us) free of charge. Really great service again from AVIS. Excellent

This used to be my go-to car rental in Arlington. It's really gone downhill recently. Inaccuracies in car condition, fuel reporting AND it smelled like cigarettes.

DO NOT EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I booked the car through Costco travel to get me unlimited mileage, and two drivers insured. When I go to pick up the car, the guy working says that booking the insurance with Costco is not a thing and that I have no insurance for the rental car. The guy tells me to get the insurance and charges me $33 a day for just one driver even though I already paid for 2. I then spent the next two hours with Avis customer service just for them to tell me that the guy was wrong. When I go to return the car, the same guy before charges me for another day even though we dropped it off in time. I receive my final bill and it’s double what I originally agreed to. I called Avis customer service again and they only credit me back half of the additional insurance the guy swindled me into. Two weeks letter I get a letter in the mail they’re charging me $250 for cleaning even though I had cleaned the car before returning. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM AVIS AGAIN AND ESPECIALLY FROM THIS SITE. They don’t know what they’re doing, they’re just trying to nickel and dime you and they’re insanely rude and constantly swearing when talking to them.

Is 0 stars an option? I prepaid for a reservation for a car at this location on the Avis website, I was the FIRST person in line. I was told they could not give me a car because "other people booked before me," and that they could call me later if MAYBE a car becomes available. How is this normal? I have wasted hours and am now late for an important business meeting, and I have no car and am starting from scratch. They told me to call Avis, who were all completely unhelpful and offered no way to guarantee that another location wouldn't do the same thing.

This place should be shut down - worst customer service ever experienced - the car was a disgrace - should never have been rented out in the first place interior was filthy, windows were dirty - staff did not care at all - worst car hire experience ever - avoid this pick up point like the plague - it is an AVIS franchise operation - never use it
