Thanking you Elvis! You made my new kitchen come together beautifully. I live in a small condo in Adams Morgan with impossibly tight dimensions. Elvis and his crew were able to take measurements, find me the appropriate appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave), and set up a single delivery and installation day. I couldn’t be happier with everything and wanted you to know that I appreciate all the headaches and hassles I didn’t have!

We were extremely pleased with the service at ABW in Arlington. Our sales associate, Elvis Matamoros, was outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable, and responsive. I think I would characterize us as somewhat demanding customers without great knowledge of today's advances in appliances, but in need of three replacements for our somewhat aging range, refrigerator and dishwasher. After several visits to the store, numerous phone calls and some research, and with Elvis' excellent advice, we made purchases, had them delivered and are now benefitting from our choices.

We had a challenging installation of the freezer. While big box companies like HD not even bothered, ABW inspected the site and managed to get the old unit out through a narrow staircase and the new one in. Go local, go professional. Thanks

From my perspective, dealing with ABW was like dealing with a high functioning, well-oiled machine. From start to finish, everything was done with accuracy & precision, as well as a good ear listening closely to what I needed. And what I needed was a reasonably priced but state-of-the-art dishwasher delivered quickly and installed perfectly. All this was orchestrated by a crew of people who were all uniformly helpful & gracious. A five-star experience!!

I’ve bought two appliances from ABW, a washer/dryer and now a dishwasher. Excellent service and customer care from the whole team. ABW serves a good range of appliance options and the installation teams are great.

After a long process of comparing dishwashers I want to thank ABW staff but especially Melonie D'agi who was my sales consultant. She was very patient, pleasant, and resourceful and kept in good communication with me to help me decide on the Bosch 800 dishwasher. The installation last week went smoothly as well.

Make sure you understand that their warranty only includes servicing Arlington one day a week. We have had both our dishwasher and refrigeration need repairs (within 1 year of purchase) each has taken 3 or more visits, with the dishwasher needing to be replaced. If you are paying more due to their warranty services, you may want understand the process a little.

Overall bad experience here, and would not recommend ABW for appliance purchases.In no particular order, we had the following issues:1) Proposals were not prepared in a timely fashion. It took nearly a week to receive anything from the salesperson after a visit to the showroom. This was supposedly due to them upgrading their system, so may not be an issue for most.2) Delayed Delivery. The main set of appliances took nearly 2 weeks to deliver when competitors had guaranteed 3 day delivery for the same items. It has been 3 weeks and our Microwave still hasn't been delivered or installed. It's not a special order or custom microwave or anything, GE brand (Cafe).3) No pre-installation visit was offered or scheduled. Due to this, the installers came unprepared to install the dishwasher, and our house needed to be upgraded to install our Laundry Machine (or we would've had to replace it).4) Multiple visits and installations needed. Due to the above issues, only the range was installed on the day scheduled. The dishwasher installation required installation of a new outlet, so installation was delayed. When installers came back a week later, they had no idea an outlet install was required (no coordination or sharing of notes between installers), and it was pure luck that they had the required materials this time. Installing the outlet was an extra $120, which of course they did not tell me until afterwards. By the end of this experience, the dishwasher, microwave, and laundry will all have had separate install days.For a few positives: I will say that the salesperson Terry was very knowledgeable and was able to quote prices that matched the competition. The delivery coordinator Melanie Dixon is responsive but she cannot do much to help the issues we are running into.Unfortunately, so far, ABW has not done anything to make up for any of the above issues. There does not seem to be an escalation process for when things go wrong. The salesperson only reached out when I emailed him asking him to call me. After the delays and issues, nothing of value has been offered, such as extending warranties, a reduction in the fees for delivery and installation, or well, anything. We came here hopeful and excited about this place but it's been a disappointing experience, sorry to say.

ABW measured the spaces for appliances in my kitchen today, to prep for a delivery. They gave me a window a couple of days in advance and kept me posted by text and email on the crew’s progress on the day so I knew where they were and when to expect them. It was painless. This is the third time I’ve bought appliances from ABW, and I’m very happy to recommend them.
