An absolutely abysmal experience with SunTrust. The bank's coronavirus policies are Draconian in the extreme, and they are only allowing one person in the bank. This means that you will end up waiting for a half hour to 45 minutes before you're able to get anything done. Additionally, they only processed PPP loans for large corporations that didn't even need the money. They did not get anything to us and did not process our application. It is unbelievably disgusting the way this bank is treating people these days. Especially those of us who are small business owners and administrators. Do not bank with them you are better off today Credit Union right now

I called to get some information and OH LORD I have never experienced such a communication in my entire life dealing and working for a bank. Beside all the inconvenient I was placed on hold for over 5m and all the sudden they hanged up after.called again to talk to a manager come to find out that I was originally talking to a manager when I first call but seems she was not confident answering my queation she refered me ro someone else. At the time I was frustrated I asked for a corporate phone number to share my concern. Come to find out they gave me the wrong number. This is when I decided to go online and share my concern. I'm sorry for saying that but just because i care please place people in the right position . At this point I'm not upset from the empl I spoke with the second time because looks she is being trained by inexperienced manager that I dont expect any better when she coach for excellence....sorry suntrust !!!

I'm not a big fan of SunTrust Bank. I've had a few issues with them. My last car loan was through SunTrust and my mortgage is through them. This SunTrust Bank is located on John Marr Drive in Annandale Virginia across from K Mart and the Block. Most banks don't make me happy. I love to put my money in them because they are safe and insured and backed by the US government. But that's where my love ends. I bought a car off the street from someone. I needed a car loan. I have super good credit but, doing a car loan like this with SunTrust just sucks. It took forever and made me waste a ton of time. The person I dealt with at the Manassas SunTrust didn't have a clue of what they were doing and that compounded things. They wasted my time and the persons time I was purchasing the car from. Capital One is a better choice for this type of car loan. This put a bad taste in my mouth with SunTrust and I never wanted to deal with them ever again even though I've had an account with them for 30 years way back when they were Crestar. Crestar was great, SunTrust bad. So anyway, I bought a house last year and I was shocked 8 months later when my mortgage was sold to SunTrust AAAAHHHHH! This to me was a disaster. I went into the SunTrust in Annandale on Johnmarr Drive and something strange happened. I met bankers that were knowledgeable and friendly and that wanted to help me. This is a rare occasion. If I ever have to deal with SunTrust I will come to this branch. These people are great. The three stars is for them. For SunTrust itself would be a big fat zero. I don't understand the inconsistency in different branches, it's like night and day and that shouldn't happen. SunTrust I don't like you or most of your employees but this branch in Annandale has some really good people working there. They should be a model for your other branches.

Wonmee no longer works here and this place now has no redeeming qualities. The deposit machine never works for more than 1 check. I've tried to meet with a banker twice in the past week, they only have 1 person working and I've left after waiting longer than 20 minutes. I hate this place and plan to switch accounts asap!.
