My wife and I met Jim when we were looking for out first home late in 2015 or early 2016. From Day 1 Jim exhibited a level of professionalism and responsiveness that you want in a realtor. After months of honing our first home experience and things we absolutely wanted in a home, Jim hit the ground running. We found, and closed on our first home in no time. I was referred to Jim by a family friend after I decided that it was time to pursue the purchase of my first home. As a first time home buyer, I hardly knew where to begin or what to expect- I had the gist of what I was looking for, but that was about it! We went on a series of whirlwind tours around the city to help me curate a vision of what I desired in a home. Jim was patient and knowledgeable, giving me his honest input on the places that we viewed and offering several "pro tips" on home buying that made me feel confident and informed. Throughout the process Jim was accessible and enthusiastic. Over the years Jim has helped me with the purchase and sale of 2 homes in Alexandria and Falls Church. His commitment to service is stellar. His attention to detail and market analysis has put me at a competitive advantage on both the purchase and sale side of the deal. Most recently he helped us sell our home in Falls Church. Through extensive market analysis, Jim recommended a marketing strategy and price which resulted in multiple offers above list price literally on the day the house hit the market. Even with the oddity of selling a house during COVID times, he was on top of every detail through the listing, contract, and closing phase of the deal. Do not trust. From the moment we met him, he was pushy and demanding. Jim is unethical and a borderline scam artist. Damage to a home was hidden and when confronted he was completely indifferent and unaccountable. Avoid at all costs. Wish we never had to deal with him and would caution people against working with him in any capacity.
