My prescription was called in at 0930- the pharmacy opens at 10. When I arrived at noon they still had not checked the voicemail for the prescription. I received a message it was ready around 1:15 and arrived at 1:32 to find the pharmacy shuttered for lunch. The hours on the confirmation of prescription say nothing about this- so now I have to return a third time for my antibiotic- not acceptable.

Pharmacist really rude and unhelpful. Stay away from this CVS if you can. The woman pharmacist could careless that you are suffering....I came the following day after I left this review...how is it possible that a different pharmacist is even ruder than the one yesterday? Is it part of the job description to be rude to people who are suffering? Horrible rude service from both pharmacists.

I was scrambling to fill some prescriptions for antibiotics for my pneumonia upon discharge from the hospital on a Sunday afternoon. My local Walgreens pharmacy closes at 6 PM on Sundays so I had my prescriptions sent electronically to the CVS at Lockheed, whose pharmacy closes at 10 PM on Sundays. Upon arrival at the Lockheed CVS I discovered that they couldn't fill ANY of my prescriptions since they didn't have them in stock. Victoria, the VERY HELPFUL pharmacy tech at Lockheed, checked the CVS system and wrote down the prescription numbers for me for the medicines I needed. She told me I that I could fill the 3 critical prescriptions at the 24-hour CVS on Duke Street, so off I went to DUKE STREET CVS.I was able to get my critical prescriptions filled there (the 2 antibiotics and the blood thinner) ONLY BECAUSE THE PHARMACIST AT DUKE STREET WENT ABOVE & BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. There were problems getting the prescriptions released from the CVS at Lockheed so that the CVS at Duke could fill these prescriptions. Finally, the pharmacist at DUKE STREET manually entered the 3 prescriptions, spoke to CVS at Lockheed & had them delete these from their system. WHAT AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'm deeply appreciative of his extra effort to do this for me while also answering the phone in pharmacy AND filling prescriptions at the drive-thru window.I will DEFINITELY be back to CVS at DUKE & CVS at LOCKHEED. Both of these pharmacies provided the customer service that we don't see as often in today's harried times.

A man walked here (no car) and arrived 7:57 PM. Pharmacy closes at 8 PM, and the pharmacist (Asian woman) turned him away saying it’s closed. It literally wasn’t 8 yet but she was clearly in a rush to go home despite the man asking a few times, and also expressing that he would have to walk to the next pharmacy. She ignored him and referred him to the 24 hour pharmacy which is a 5-minute drive away.

This pharmacy manages to create problems and drama with every prescription I try to fill there. I have yet to have a smooth transaction with this pharmacy. They tell me, for example, that my insurance company has declined to cover my medication. When I call the insurance company, however, they tell me not only that the medication is covered, but that the pharmacy never tried to fill the prescription. Another thing that happens with regularity is their failure to properly process insurance claims. I’ve never experienced such consistently incompetent service.

Pharmacy is great, but the hours listed on google are incorrect. The pharmacy opens at 9am, not 8am.

Close to home and generally and excellent staff in store and pharmacy. ALSO, it is important to know this a "training store" as far as the pharmacy is concerned. Be aware of that and the fact it's a very busy location. Rush can exist at normal and all other times considering how many buildings and homes it serves within a mile.

Do NOT use this place for vaccines. For NO apparent reason, they require "prescriptions" for certain vaccines while gladly advertising they offer ALL these vaccines. I went for a flu vaccine & pneumonia vaccine and was told I could not receive the pneumonia vaccine because I was under 65, and if I got pneumonia I "probably wouldn't die". I "probably won't die" if I catch the FLU also, so why issue that vaccine? It makes no sense. With NO knowledge whatsoever of my medical background, this pharmacist simply LOOKED at me and made an on-the-spot "medical determination" that I didn't "need" the vaccine. She is my PHARMACIST, not my DOCTOR. How can you determine somebody "doesn't need" a vaccine just by LOOKING at them from across the counter. I probably.wont die in a car accident, but the same holds true for Flu and Covid -.MOST people won't die of it, so why get vaccinated? This IDIOTIC nonsense just made the case for every "anti-vaxxer" in the country: They are basically teaching people you "probably won't die" so you don't need a vaccine. This is FOOLISH logic. So, if you're under 65, you're supposed to just not get vaccinated, "roll the dice", and hope that if you DO get pneumonia that you don't die? I know of at least 2 family members that got pneumonia when they were under 30, with one DYING and the other having chronic respiratory problems for the rest of her life. I wonder if this pharmacist would tell the family member that DIED that they "didn't need" a pneumonia vaccine. So, these people are encouraging people NOT to get vaccinated and to just hope for the best. It's called PREVENTATIVE medicine for a reason, and LUCK and HOPE are not preventative. The best way to survive an illness is to AVOID getting it in the first place: That's the entire point of VACCINES. So, I went to my doctor a day later - who ORDERED THEM TO give me the pneumonia vaccine due to UNDERLYING health.issues, including HEART problems. Even with all that, these JERKS still REFUSED and said they needed to contact the doctor for her to "explain" why she ordered the vaccine. What in the world.? Since when does a DOCTOR need to defend their medical decision to a Pharmacist to have their patient vaccinated? It's a VACCINE and the Pharmacist is demanding my DOCTOR "defend" her medical decision to instruct me to get the vaccine. I could see if I was picking up a bunch of pills with narcotics or something addictive in them, but a harmless VACCINE? What's going to happen? I'm going to get "hooked" on a one-time pneumonia shot? Give me a break. What is the possible harm in getting VACCINATED to PROTECT against something: They should be ENCOURAGING people to get vaccines, not making it difficult and telling people you don't "need them". Most people will never be in a car accident bad enough to cause their air bags to deploy, but that doesn't mean you start buying cars without air bags simply because "you probably won't die". I'm not expecting to die tomorrow, but I still carry life insurance IN CASE it happens. You prevent and prepare for things beforehand, not wait for something bad to happen and then hope "that you probably won't die". Thank goodness she is a pharmacist & not a heart surgeon or something telling a patient "you probably won't die" right before surgery. This pharmacy does NOT follow the DOCTOR'S orders and uses their PERSONAL discretion to determine if people are WORTHY of a vaccine, disregard your doctor's orders, and make random excuses to HOARD harmless vaccines that can save human lives. My DOCTOR sent them a note saying I was at HIGH RISK and needed the vaccine, and these "pharmacists" took a quick "glance" at me and "decided" I didn't "need" the vaccine anyway - basically "overruling" a
