My family recently had an excellent experience working with Tanya and George at Alexandria Kitchen & Bath Studio to perform a major kitchen renovation. We came to them with an idea of what we wanted, and they worked with us during the design and renovation phase to dial in the perfect layout. They also provided insight and suggestions on designs and materials throughout the process that we hadn't considered -- their expertise was appreciated and led to a much better result! We thought the renovation timeline was ambitious, but George finished way ahead of schedule! They are very organized and hit the ground running -- we appreciated the fact that they worked efficiently to finish quickly as kitchen renovations can be very disruptive, especially when you have little kids. During the renovation, George and his partners pointed out safety issues and things that weren't previously done to code so that we could resolve them and make the home safer. As far as the new kitchen: it's flawless. This company is a well-oiled machine, and we were confident from the initial meeting that we were in good hands and would be happy with the quality.Services: Kitchen countertop installation

We were extremely pleased with the results of Alexandria Kitchen and Bath Studio’s remodeling of our kitchen and three bathrooms.Tanya, our designer, listened to our requirements and designed a modern, bright and highly functional kitchen. She helped us select custom white shaker kitchen cabinets, high end appliances (which included a new induction cooktop), island pendants, under cabinet lighting, countertops, backsplash, sink and faucet. Our new wood floor is perfect. The bathrooms are quite lovely – bright new LED recessed lighting, vanity tops, modern sinks and faucets, exceptional floor and shower tiles with mosaic recessed niches. We highly recommend Tanya.Georges’s, (the CEO and contractor) work is phenomenal! He worked diligently and efficiently everyday. He was involved in the demolition and in the daily construction. He only works with his known highly qualified electrician, tiler and glass/mirror installer. His perfectionist approach resulted in the construction of our suburb kitchen and bathrooms. He is meticulous in selecting high quality materials and providing solutions to problems as they arise. He came to our house multiple times prior to the start of the project to analyze the best approach to completing the project. He expeditiously finished the bathrooms and kitchen expeditiously.

AK&B was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Tanya, the designer, went out of her way to understand my needs and desires and then designed an amazing kitchen. I now have an extremely functional and beautiful island and more countertops and storage that I could have imagined. Georges, is a master carpenter, and is meticulous in his work. As the owner, he went above and beyond, dealing with pandemic related supply chains issues, and still managed to finish a complete kitchen remodel within cost and schedule. AK&B are very competitive in pricing. Once all the materials are selected and arrive, the completion only took a little over 2 weeks. Dedicated people on the job were the tile, glass, electrician and plumbing. It is a process so be patient. The finished product looks great! We have a 1-year warranty and while we don't anticipate anything - it is good to have. Constructive criticism: Make sure that all changes and/or conversations are followed up in writing; be prepared that the owner, George is rude and at times combative. He is more comfortable dealing with males since I felt the brunt of his personality on many occasions. If he is out of the direct contact picture - the rating would have been higher. Our eyebrow also raised when the designer shared stories of other people and jobs...that means us too ~

Used AKB for full kitchen remodeling at our home four years ago. Happy enough to order the same cabinets for our new condo. Tanya is a delight to work with, answering our many questions, telling us what was possible and what was not, and exhibiting thoroough technical expertise and design taste. AK&B did a fantastic job and it was more than just your average kitchen remodel. We removed a wall, moved major plumbing, installed a new gas line for cooking, and installed/refinished hardwood floors in three rooms. Oh, and of course we remodeled the kitchen with custom cabinets, hand picked granite, top of the line appliances, and all the bells and whistles, like under cabinet lighting and puck lights in the glass door cabinet. Tanya was very responsive and worked with my busy scheduled to help me get everything picked out. She made suggestions, but didn't push more expensive items.George makes AK&B particularly special. He is a true craftsman. He scoped out my job multiple times to make sure that the plumbing move and the gas line extension would be effective and sound in design. He even checked with the gas company to make sure my main line supplied enough to add a chef's stove to the house's overall load. He is a true perfectionist and particular about each and every step. The materials he uses are high quality. Sure I picked certain things like appliances and faucets, but the littler things that I didn't pick, like the undercab lights and the garbage disposal and plug covers are all very high quality-- because they take pride in their work.If you want a big crew that is going to blow in and out and race through your job, this is not your team. Perfection and care takes time. George is methodical and that takes some time, but AK&B let me know what to expect and delivered and finished the job on schedule. It was a pleasure working with Tanya, AK\\u0026B’s incredibly talented kitchen designer, on two different properties over the past 18 months. The scope of the work included 10 bathrooms, a basement bar area with a floating ceiling, a walk-in pantry, and one large kitchen with a butler pantry. Our introduction to the high-quality work and professionalism of AK\\u0026B was with the first property which included a master bath and guest bath. Tanya met with us and went over the process, offering design ideas and answering any questions we might have. The cabinet selections at the showroom were great and she was extremely helpful in suggesting different tile and granite counter retailers when we did not see exactly what we were looking for at the showroom. Once we found the finishes we wanted, Tanya coordinated all the ordering and delivery. She made the experience seamless, which is what we were looking for. One of the reasons we initially picked AK\\u0026B was because the owner, Georges, also did the installation and carpentry. We liked the idea that we would be dealing directly with the owner and not a subcontractor. Additionally, AK\\u0026B uses the same electrician, tile layer, and glass/mirror installer for all their jobs. The first time Georges came to our house was for preparation purposes. We were extremely impressed with the thorough pre-planning and staging of the project. Once Georges was on site to complete our bathrooms, we were even more impressed with the quality and craftmanship of his work. Shortly after AK\\u0026B finished our two baths in our old home, we bought a new home. The first, and only, folks we considered for the renovations in the new home were Tanya and Georges. We felt incredibly lucky that they agreed to take on this huge project and saw it through to the end. Tanya’s input, design skills, and attention to detail resulted in a fantastic outcome on all the rooms! With every project we sat down with Tanya to go over specifics. Once the details were settled, Tanya sent us detailed layouts with elevations which were so helpful in visualizing each room. We could not have done the scope of work we were facing without Tanya’s help. The beautiful end result is a testament to Tanya’s dedication, design talent, and knowledge of products and materials. We cannot say enough positive things about Georges’ extraordinary work on our house. His craftmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to perfection resulted in our dream home. Georges is one-of-a-kind – honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and design savvy. His keen sense of design helped us with many a decision along the way. We often say when admiring something about the house, “That was Georges’ idea….!” I would highly recommend Alexandria Kitchen \\u0026 Bath Studio.

We have had both our kitchen and master bath redone by them. They are simply the best around. Very high quality work.This is truly custom work. Their designs are both elegant and efficient and the outcomes are breathtaking.A real hallmark is the work itself. They are very strict about prior planning and staging and as a result the work is done very efficiently.I would go nowhere else!

We used Alexandria Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen late last year. We love the kitchen, and the experience was fantastic. Tanya guided us every step of the way in making all the decisions needed, and ensured we would be happy with the final product. George, the owner, helps with decision making at every step of the process, from pre-tearout walkthrough to final install. The work is beautiful, and the end result is a fully functional working kitchen, with space, beauty, and ease of use.I have attached pictures of the finished product. We hired Alexandria Kitchen and Bath to renovate a 1970s kitchen in our 1938 house. Anyone who has done any kind of renovation in an older home…one without 90 degree corners, plumb walls, level horizontal surfaces, and with old plumbing, electricity and plaster walls knows the nightmares that may be hiding in a renovation. Georges has an extensive work history in this area and most importantly, with older homes. He knows how important it is to make everything as level as possible and line up vertically with the doorways and cabinets adjacent to each other.We had heard horror stories from neighbors and friends so choosing the right design/build company was key. One of the things I appreciated most with this company was that the owner and the General Contractor and the man doing most of the ‘heavy lifting’, were one and the same.My experience with the team was the best. Tanya, the designer, was my first contact. She is very knowledgeable about the products they sell, how the layout should work with appliances, doorways, opened cabinet doors, etc., and didn’t try to force me to purchase anything that we had different opinions on.The project involved some minor plumbing changes to run cold water to the relocated refrigerator, and removing the old iron radiator, replacing it with a sleek European-style one on an adjacent wall. The kitchen is small with doors on 3 walls and a window on the other. So there are cabinets on only 2 of the 4 walls. The new oak flooring matches the old flooring in the dining room and living room perfectly and George installed it beautifully, preplanning everything so it lined up with the dining room floor boards that are on the other side of the flat ‘threshold’ board separating the two rooms. He also installed a pocket door in an existing wall.The end result was better than my inspiration picture - the kitchen is beautiful, exactly how I imagined it and we receive many compliments from everyone who visits.It was completed within their scheduled time frame of 3 weeks. I would highly recommend the team at Alexandria Kitchen and Bath for anyone planning a kitchen renovation especially in an older home.

We are quite pleased with the quality of the material creations that were offered to us as selection options by our design consultant Tanya. This began our experience with AK&B studio in the replacement of our 1996 kitchen. Tanya’s willingness to participate in off-site selections for flooring, countertops & backsplash materials at local supplier locations, as well as company in-house selection of cabinetry & hardware for cabinetry, was a valuable assist. She is as well talented in recognizing compatible lighting fixture components to compliment the project requirements. Once material selections were completed, the installation schedule was established. Within the proffered time frame, removal & replacement began. The (99%) remover/installer, company owner, Georges, is a wonder. A true professional in his trades. (His capabilities are varied & of quality). Our remodel required a measure of electrical renovation that was provided by a professional electrical contractor. George responsibly does not perform outside his code requirements. He is a professional. If you’re looking for a Lowe’s/Home Despot upgrade to your home, don’t call this company. We are very pleased we engaged with Alexandria Kitchen & Bath.
