For a rainy day we were really impressed with how the course played after a long wet year. Facilities were great, carts would good quality, the actual grounds were fantastic, and the food after was great. The greens were in impeccable shape and wouldn’t hesitate to play here again. The course is cool in how it gets a lot of yards in on a smaller footprint. For food I’d recommend the truffle smash burger with truffle fries!

Great course. There are a lot of water hazards with a stream that winds thru the course.

I learned how to play golf at WCC when I was in high school back in the late 70s. It has always been a fantastic course. Don't let the short yardage and par 69 fool you... this course can be tough if you don't consistently hit the fairways and greens. And water comes into play a lot! So much so that we used to refer to the water retriever as a "Woodstock Wedge"! Worth the trip from anywhere!

#2 In mismanaged courses in the upper valley with Mont Calm Firmly being in the top spot. Woodstock used to be an elite level resort course but over the last three years has been reduced to a glorified public course. Traps and rough not maintained with any regularity. They completely mismanage teetimes causing the course to play unbelievably slow. They never use a Ranger and never monitor pace of play. For the last three years they have used the excuse of the lack of staff, But will still charge you full price for a round and full price for a membership. Not a bad course to play once in a while but you won't receive the value for your money. This course could easily be one of the best in New England but ownership doesn't seem to care about managing it properly.

Nice resort facility... Dinners were very good... Having played golf up and down the East coast and never having had a poor golf experience, this was the worst golf experience I've had... Course was in marginal shape, but the pace of play was about 5 hours slow for two days... Pro Shop could have cared less... Canceled the last round... Just couldn't do it again...
