I got a new starter installed. After I got home, I noticed my spare tire was missing from its compartment. They'd removed my spare for no explicable reason. When I went back to get it from them, Jim offered no explanation or apology. I never did business with them after that.

This is the best place ever, I drive an old volvo that many people think I should stop driving. This car has so many memories and was the first car/is the first car I have ever had. The swedish pit is so caring and being a young girl I don't know much about cars and I am a high school student so I can't spend to much money. The Swedish Pit is so understanding, fast, friendly, and are always willing to help. After my car battery kept dying I took it over and they replaced it the same day in just one hour with no prior appointment. I hope this shop stays open forever, so many great things. This is the only place I trust.

You are not going to find a better place to take your Volvo in Vermont. Scott will always be financially fair and get your car serviced in a timely manner. As a young woman who knows nothing about cars, I never feel stupid or cheated. I fully trust these guys and will only take my 21 year old station wagon here. They don't take credit cards but the extra preparation to have cash/check is well worth it. I am so grateful for this place and the people.

After keeping our car for 3 weeks, they did nothing! Told us they had other things that were easier to do. They said they thought the engine could not be salvaged, and they wanted to scrap it. Offered us $1000 for a $12000 car!?! Went to a competitor, and the engine was repaired perfectly in 5 days. I'll never do business with Swedish Pit. Period. We had a problem with radiator fan which ran all night and drain the battery. I made a call to quite a few shops and this is the only place that got back to me. We had a car in next day and owner was very helpful and accommodating. He was straightforward with the estimate and payment arrangements as well.Service: General repairs & maintenance
