refused to give back deposit despite leaving the unit in better condition than when it was rented to me. my belongings were covered in mold.

We've had our storage unit for a few years now and found the management to be very responsive to concerns. My debit card expired and then recently my bank account was hacked and had to open new account. Management was very helpful in getting my payments reestablished. Have not had any security concerns at any time.

So far I’ve had a very positive experience with Breezy Valley. The manager was willing to work with me on multiple occasions and everything I’ve stored has been kept in safe condition. Nothing negative in the 2 years I’ve been there. Would recommend

I recently rented 2 large units to help with my transitional move from Nashville to Vermont. Unfortunately, I couldn't inspect the units before renting them out. I had to solely go on a recommendation from a fellow employee at work. The area that these units are located do flood when there is a lot of rain that falls in the area. There is little or no maintenance of the St. George location.
My main complaint happened when I finally got the opportunity to move all my belongs out of the 2 units I rented. There was water up to the base of the 2 units but thankfully none of my items were damaged. Moving my belongs were very tough due to about a foot of water that existed.
After all my belongs were moved out, I swept the units clean so I'm able to get my security deposit back. I let the manager that run operations know that I moved out and I would like to cancel my rent on these 2 units. A few days after I was made away there were oil spots left in these 2 units.
I do take responsibility for the one unit, even though I'm not sure where the oil came from. The other unit was completely fine but they claim there were oil spots all over the place. I went there and inspected the 2 units myself and the 1 unit was completely dry with no stains. There were dark spots on the concrete, but those existed prior to me moving in.
I regret on taking photos of the condition prior to moving into the units, but I would never of thought the owner/manager would give me a hard time on oil stains in one unit that never happened. I only storage furniture items in that unit with no oil at all but for some reason I was charged with leaving oil all over the place.
I would not rent units from this company going forward. The manager I had to dealt with was rude at certain points which made this whole situation a lot worse.
