Lots of wines, cheeses, beers, snacks, great sandwiches, steaks for your grill, deli case offerings such as salmon, shrimp, salads....& PIZZA?! Cabot cheese? off the wheel.... Wilcox ice cream & other desserty items... Truly a gem in the mettowee valley!
Update! Got chicken Marsala & some awesome risotto cakes the other day... Yum. They've got lots of new items to take home for dinner.”
“This store is a model of community wealth and support. John, the owner, takes great care and concern with every customer and is unstinting in sharing his great product knowledge at great lengths with any customer who asks. One gets the feeling that he has studied and tested every product before allowing it to find its way into his valued customers’ baskets. He runs a well ordered, clean and inviting shop with generosity of spirit. He has built a shop over years which embodies the very best of small town values with a genuine and personal touch. If shopkeepers could be nominated, he ought to be the Manchester Person of the Year! I love walking in!”
“Nice fresh produce and a pretty extensive liquor stock as well. I was a little disappointed that the rotisserie chickens were sold out by 4pm. But I hear that's a local issue. I was super impressed with the bagel special $6 a dozen pick your own. There's plenty of parking also.”
“It’s a small store so the selection is small but the service is great. Price chopper should give Darren from the closing shift a raise, he works really hard to help everybody and make them feel welcome after a long day.”
“Good food, ok service and Vermont ambiance. Good place to do a quick pick up of staples and select baking, salads and sandwiches that look very interesting. I got a few items and they were good. Seem to cater to Dorset Inn and surrounding area. I'd stop in and see what you think.”
