I bought a 2011 Subaru Outback about a month ago. I wanted to wait to make a review until my inspection was due. To be honest the negative reviews made me very nervous. However when I got there they were very friendly. They let me look at the cars I wanted and never tried to steer me in any direction to look at a different vehicle or something out of my price range. The only thing that I had to have fixed to pass inspection was 3 bulbs for my headlights. A very minor and cheap fix. As a woman who also brought a woman friend with me to find a suitable and safe vehicle for myself and children; I was never once treated any differently compared to some sellers who try to take advantage of women when they are on the market for a car. No used car will be 100 perfect. Do your research and ask questions. I will definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of a used car!

Do not recommend. I bought a 2012 Subaru Outback that was supposedly inspected the month before I bought it. I was told it needed nothing and was in perfect working order. Less than one week after buying, I was left broken down on the side of the interstate. I was quoted by a Subaru dealer for over $12,000 worth of repairs on a car I just paid $10,000 for. The car needs a new transmission and had two engine oil leaks needing immediate attention. This car should have failed the VT state inspection, but instead it was passed and was represented as being in perfect order. I spent two weeks back and fourth on the phone with Prim Auto because they said they wanted to help make it right. I was never given an accurate quote for repairs. Every time I called, they told me something different and to call tomorrow. I asked for a quote in writing and never received one. I was strung along for over two weeks and ultimately decided to get the repairs done elsewhere. Several other reviews and complaints online suggest similar situations. Poor customer service.

Jon helped me and my wife get our new car and worked with us through every step. We had a small problem with it, we sent an email, and he got back to us asap and helped us figure out the problem, it was us not knowing the new car yet. Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend looking here for your new car.

Stay away from this “dealer.” Bought my sister a car and it broke down a week after the purchase. This dealer is sketchy and not worth the hassle of going to. Go to a better dealer, this is no good. Consider this your sign.

I would highly recommend this dealer. Working with Jon was a great experience for me. He was definitely very easygoing, very helpful, and knowledgeable in his field. The car I purchased here three years ago has never given me any problems. I will definitely return again.

If the Better Business Bureau does not accredit Prim Auto, that is concerning. *** alluded to the fact that the Tacoma truck we were interested in may (or may not ) have rot issues affecting the undercarriage and create structural damage since the undercarriage was treated. So, l applaud **** honesty.Luckily, my son in very knowledgeable about vehicles and later researched the particular year and discovered that the year of the truck was a poor one for Tacoma.The price of ****** was not only high , but it was counter to Blue Book value .*** only uses Carfax information, and this is potentially problematic for a customer.Although, later years show definite improvement over undercarriage rot and transmission issues, it is ALWAYS wise to research the vehicle in question .Prospective customers need to take responsibility for RESEARCHING. also.THANK YOU, ***. We were able to read between the lines of what you were saying and saw that you were forewarning us that there may be a problem with the vehicle. Kudos to you.
