At my home pharmacy’s recommendation to call around because they did not have my medication I called this Kinney yesterday to see if the pharmacy had a prescription that’s on back order in most places. I recognize supply issues are not their fault, however I was told they could get it for me today which happens to be a Friday and it would be in around three. After this I waited until 3 and then didn’t hear anything so I called about 3:45 and was told by Tammy that she didn’t know why anyone would tell me that and her staff are explicitly told not to tell people that this medication will be in until it is in hand. She then tried to tell me it was probably a different Kinney rather than taking accountability for her staff’s mistake. I did double check and it was the same store. I called my doctor and home pharmacy for solutions and was told not only that I couldn’t do anything but also that my home pharmacy had to put me back to the bottom of their waiting list for both doses of this med (the one I should be triturating up to and the lower dose that I started on). Because of this previous employee’s error I now have to wait six weeks minimum to get my medication because of supply issues. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. Yelling I am sorry for this other person who I supervise that gave you bad info at a customer is so unacceptable at best and entirely lacking empathy at worst.

I've been going to this place in Castleton for over ten years now.And sure it may take a little longer time than they said it would..But myself...I've never had a real problem there...And the lady's there have treated me great every time..

The older attendants are defensive all the time and not very open to customers-or patients. And they don’t like to explain things...They need to reset their minds into a more efficient and subtle customer service

I’m not sure of the girls name but she’s younger and works in the pharmacy and EVERY time o go in to get my meds she talks to me like I am trash and always has a reason to hold up getting my meds today she screamed at me in a store of people then laughs about it. They refused to give me contact info to report her directly that entire store needs to be re staffed. This lady SHOULD NOT be working in the field she works in!

Their pharmacist's don't understand basic procedures. Had to have police retrieve and bring back to me medical documents the pharmacist told me I couldn't have which included my vaccine card and medication information sheet (from the medication he had just given). He had also initially tried to retain and not give back my drivers license until I told him I was going to call the police, then he handed that back quickly. Spoke to one of their regional managers (a non medical person) and he said he would speak to the pharmacist and educate him about the procedures.

I came in to pick up my 3 prescriptions this morning. I work in a doctors office so I have a little knowledge of prescriptions and why it may take a little longer than others for the script to get ready. I normally never write a bad review, normally I just keep things to myself. I was seen last night at an urgent care, granted when the provider sent in the scripts Kinney was closed, therefore I went in later this morning to pick up my prescriptions. I went to the counter told them what I was here for. The lady said “it’s not ready yet… next”, before I could ask anymore questions like when my scripts would be ready, she took the next person in line. About a half later my scripts were ready. I received a new insurance card and had asked the lady ringing me out if she would like it to have on file and she completely ignored me.

I was in Bomoseen Kinney’s yesterday to pick up 3 prescriptions. I’ve used this store for years. One of the prescriptions was$100, granted it was for 3 mos., but for me a lot. I said wow. It was a pharmacist that waited on me. She took slip walked over to computer and I thought she was looking for a lower price instead came over and rang up 100, I’m 78 so don’t always understand how things work. I said I have a Good RX card, she said won’t work with insurance. I thought because I had insurance I couldn’t use it. She should have taken a moment to explain how the card works instead of being greedy. My daughter a nurse called them morans for not helping me out. With coupon that med would have been $27.00. Shame on them for not helping the elderly!!!

This is the worst of the worst. I felt sorry for the employees! It’s very busy, I waited almost two hours for my prescription. One woman left her money on the counter and left with her merchandise. I got somebody else’s medication, thankfully I checked the prescription In my car. Part of my wait was because the prescription didn’t go through from the doctors office. Would never get a shot there , heard one say to another make sure you are giving them the right one… yes I’ll never be back. Busy pharmacy, management hire the help you need!

New to the community and they were my first choice. Initial visit there, they only sent me home with two of my three prescriptions. Had to call them to point out the error and then go back. On that return trip, they did send me home with the third missing prescription, as well as someone else's prescriptions. Too risky to continue doing business there, so I had my prescriptions transferred elsewhere.
