Just quality, top of the range. The strength of this store is the welcome, the owner is super friendly. We were looking for an item that he didn't have and directed us to another store not far away.

Picked up a few items here this past weekend!
Selection was solid with a focus on quality brands (e.g. OXO, Le Creuset, Cangshan, et al). Easy to navigate and find what you need. Able to test how a knife handles on a cutting board for free, with zero obligation to purchase. Staff are friendly and helpful without hovering.
As a lagniappe to the knife set I picked up, they included a voucher for a free knife sharpening - an unexpected but welcome bonus.
When I got home, I gave those new items a proper test run in my kitchen. Everything worked well, especially the Cangshan Kita knives. Easily the best I've ever used.
Overall, had a great and zero-stress experience :) Will be happy to return in the future.

I bought a knife. It's the best knife I've ever owned. Expensive but worth the money.

Amazing service in the kitchen knife department, very informative and helpful. Wanted only the best fit for me and didn’t push for a sale.

Attempted to make an exchange. Went during normal hours…closed. Arrived 45 minutes before closing the next day…closed. Employee was as in store. We knocked. She came to the door and pointed to a sign on the door saying they were closing and hour early “today”. Online says it’s supposed to be open. Extremely frustrating to carve out time to go downtown 2 days in a row to find the store closed during online hours.

My favorite Church st business. They have great products, great selection, and some really good sales. The shopping experience is really fun - it’s great to be able to handle kitchen stuff before buying.

Really great shopping experience. Well laid out store and really pleasant staff. I was actually looking for an item that was out of stock, and they recommended another competing store. Looking forward to coming back!

This is the worst retail establishment I have ever been to in my life. Their entire stock of kitchen accessories reads " Not Available" , that is , of course , except for the high priced , top of the line items. When asked about this they simply told me they're " sold out " , of all the lower to mid priced items. This is an absolute crock. They think they're fooling the consumer by this under- handed business practice. Time for everyone to boycott the Kiss the Cook store on Church Street in Burlington , until when , and if , they ever stop playing games with shoppers. Again , I'm talking about the fact they are claiming they are literally sold out of over half the store , in multiple departments. If you want to be subject to deceptive business practices , simply go in and find out for your self. My wife and I will never , ever , step foot inside again.

I'm a chef and kitchen stores are my kryptonite, so when I saw this one I knew I just had to come in. Upon walking in, I knew it wasn't right for me and wanted to leave immediately but I decided to peruse a bit anyway. Sufficed to say, we didn't spend much time in here. I would agree with other reviewers that it is like a Williams Sonoma but local and I appreciate that. I, in no means, am not telling you not to shop here, please do support a local business. There are many items in this store and it can feel a bit overwhelming and the aisles are cramped big time. Not many people can be in here at the same time. The pricing is high and you can absolutely find some of the same items at a department store for a better price. The staff here didn't seem to care about customers, which is odd for a local business but maybe it was an off day. I'm sure Saturdays at the end of the season can be tough.

Would leave zero stars if I could. Purchased a springform pan here as opposed to Amazon because I needed it ASAP and was trying to support local. After a single use and a normal wash (no soaking) in water with dish soap, the thing rusted on the hinge and along the seams. Obviously not safe to cook with, and clearly some defect or issue with the product since one would assume washing a used pan would be kind of important. Store states that they’ll accept returns on defective merch…well, I call bull on that because when I tried to return (for store credit, mind you, not even a refund), the manager actually called me a liar and basically said I obviously did something to the pan (that I’ve owned for less than a week and used once, thanks), and I could try calling the company. The German company. They don’t stand behind their products, their management is rude and dismissive, and places like this are exactly why big box stores are putting small businesses out of business. I’m all for shopping local as much as the next person, and I have had great experiences with other local businesses in the area, but if someone won’t stand behind the products that they personally bring in for their inventory and work with a customer on what is clearly a defect and not a user error, then I have no confidence or interest in giving them my money. Beyond rude and inconsiderate to be called a liar to my face by the manager of the store, over a $12 pan (you know, because obviously I’m out for blood and intentionally destroying bakeware for kicks…) Take my advice: Spend your money elsewhere.

They have a really thoughtful and nicely laid out selection of great quality kitchen and cooking ware. And the staff is really friendly. They just helped me secure one small star cookie cutter that I needed for a craft project. This quite possibly might have been the smallest sale of the day for them, but you wouldn't know it by how helpful they were. I'll be back!

A small store with a large selection of cooking and baking items, plus coffee and tea brewing. We got knives sharpened here too, which is a great service.
